Although her son looks to be pursuing a career in music, Charley has put her acting career on hault for the moment as she recently revealed she has “no plans” to return to her role of Debbie Dingle on Emmerdale.
Speaking to The Sun earlier this month, she said: ““I’m still on maternity leave at the moment. It’s been good but three kids is a different ball game.
“It’s been really good fun, but there are no plans for me to return to work at the moment.”

As Debbie left the village last year, she told her mum Charity Dingle: “I can't say if I will be back, otherwise there would be no point going if I could."
Charley, who was on Emmerdale since 2002, left the soap after giving birth to her youngest son Ace last year.
Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine during a stunning shoot to mark Ace’s arrival, Charley revealed how her two sons Buster and Bowie were adjusting to their baby brother.
She said: “Buster is really besotted, although he thinks nappies are disgusting!
“Bowie’s not as bothered. In fact, he was a bit tricky in the beginning. You could tell he was trying to rebel as he wasn’t the baby any more, although it only lasted a week! Ace is a lovely mix of both of them – he has Buster’s features and Bowie’s colouring.”
