Britain’s Got Talent: Cheryl looks chic in a vibrant orange shirt and matching silk trousers for the live final as she reveals why she isn’t performing

She released her new single on Friday named Let You. 

And Cheryl, 35, was seen pulling up to the Hammersmith Apollo to sit in the audience for the Britain’s Got Talent live final on Sunday.

The Geordie native sat in the back seat of a taxi dressed in a blood-orange shirt and whilst playing on her mobile phone as she pulled up to the venue.

En route, Cheryl shared why she is not performing her latest hit on the show in a candid Instagram video.

In the footage, that she shared with her 3.6 million strong social media following, the Promise This hit maker revealed the reason why she was not taking to the stage.

The star, who was accompanied by a woman named Millie, told her fans that she was not booked to perform.

The brunette quizzed Millie on why she was not singing on the show, to which the blonde responded: ‘Because it’s a variety show.’

Millie then piped up: ‘They already had their music acts planned.’

Cheryl then continued: ‘There you go, they wanted variety, and they already had their musical acts booked before I released Let You. But I am on my way.’

Also spotted arriving to the venue was Love Island’s Georgia Steel. 

The reality TV star ensured she commanded attention by wearing a white mini-dress with a silver sequined blazer wrapped tightly over the top.

Flaunting her glowing tan, the confident star, 21, allowed her bare legs to take centre stage due to her garment’s short hemline.

Georgia continued her glamorous look by stepping onto the pavement in white heels.

Following the show kicking off, Cheryl was left in shock as she watched Jonathan Goodwin – who has impressed on the series with his daredevil stunts – performed a routine in a clear box suspended from the ceiling, which was gradually filled with grain.

Known to kill those who become immersed in it, the gain filled the box, engulfing Jonathan who disappeared out of sight.

The judges, Ant & Dec, the audience and Cheryl were seen panicking as they watched, while the health & safety team appeared on stage when it seemed that the act had potentially gone wrong.

After a tense moment – which felt like hours – Jonathan eventually reached his hand out of the top, pulled the cord and released the trap door, letting the grain spill to the stage.

Jonathan then dropped out of the box, looking a little flustered and very relieved.
