She said: ‘That [the dog] has been our biggest argument in lockdown! I’m not a dog person at all… It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just that I don’t care!’
Chloe got a surprise when James showed her a photo of the Red Fox Labrador just before the second lockdown and then arrived home with him.
The media personality explained they took the dog in after his original owner got ill and Chloe has since become a ‘dog nut’.
Elsewhere, she told how the couple were among many in the country who experienced a decline in work due to the pandemic.
Careers: Chloe also admitted that while her work ‘skyrocketed’ amid the pandemic, James’ almost completely dried up
James, who does public speaking and DJing, saw virtually all of his work vanish as people were told to remain at home.
Personal trainer Chloe found the opposite happen to her as she could train her clients from home.
She said: ‘My work basically skyrocketed, so I was hell-bent on being on my own and sitting down to focus every day from breakfast until dinner. But James went the other way as everything that he does is public facing.
‘He went from being busy seven days a week to not having anything on. But it was lovely for him because, ever since he was a teenager, it’s been go, go, go 365 days a year.’

Chloe added that the free time gave James the ‘perspective’ he needed after working a hectic work schedule for so many years.
Chloe also told how she loved seeing her parents Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan back on the small screen in 2020 on This Morning and on Richard and Judy’s Book Club.
The TV star said she hopes they start doing more television again in the future, saying they had to come to grips with hosting Book Club remotely.
It comes after the fitness enthusiast recently spoke about feeling ‘broody’ and wanting to start a family.

However Chloe insisted Bert has ‘filled up all [her] broody space’ for now.
Chloe said she and James aren’t putting ‘pressure’ on themselves to have children, but also think it would be a ‘lovely surprise’ if she did fall pregnant.
She told the Daily Star Sunday’s TV Life magazine: ‘I was starting to get broody and then we got Bert and he’s filled up all my broody space.
‘But there is something about these little things covered in fat that I do love. We’re not not trying, but we’re also not trying.
‘There is absolutely no pressure. Who knows what the next couple of years will bring? If it happened it would be a lovely surprise.
‘I’ve watched that happen to my brothers and I think they’re very lucky because it doesn’t happen for everyone and it may not happen for me.’
