Shock: Corrie star Chris Quinten’s stripper fiancée Robyn Delabarre, 21, has reportedly lost her £3,000 engagement ring after jumping into the sea to save him

‘But as she thrashed about in the waves she ended up losing her new ring. They’re completely devastated…

‘Robyn was understandably inconsolable about it – but she’s obviously happy that at least she was able to save Chris.’

Last week, the couple returned to the strip club where they first laid eyes on each other for their engagement party.

And Chris watched on as his fiancée Robyn writhed on a series of men at their bash hosted at The Secret Lounge after he did an interview insisting there wasn’t a problem with the age gap.

No! The Sun reports, that while the couple were enjoying a holiday in Mamaris, Turkey, his lilo burst and due to the actor being a weak swimmer, she heroically swam out to save him

The bleary-eyed stripper showed off her raunchiest moves when she danced up a storm with the male guests at her engagement soirée.

Being Robyn’s senior by 40 years, the stage actor, who played Brian Tilsley on Corries from 1978 to 1989, has already lived a life before he met his ‘soulmate’ and is the proud father to three daughters.

He welcomed a 30-year-old daughter with ex-wife US TV host Leeza Gibbons, has a 26-year-old daughter from a previous relationship and a teenage daughter, 14, with his former partner Alison Slater.

Heartache: ‘Robyn was understandably inconsolable about it – but she’s obviously happy that at least she was able to save Chris’

And Chris, who previously said in his own words that he was old enough to be Robyn’s grandfather, admitted that he would support his brood ‘100%’ should they ever find a significant other, who is significantly older.

His words ring true as the Hazell star revealed that Robyn’s father, 40, had given his blessing to their relationship after an initial hesitation, which was a ‘relief’ to the couple who hope to marry abroad next year.

Earlier this week, he insisted that he would support his three daughters if they found an older man.

Discussing his engagement to Robyn and his family in an exclusive chat with MailOnline, Chris admitted he’d ‘100 per cent’ approve of an unconventional romance for his own daughters.

Agh! The ring was lost while Robyn attempted to rescue her beloved

He explained: ‘I would look at my relationship with Robyn and if my daughters were to tell me, “Dad, he’s a really good man, he’s a really good person, he looks after me and I do genuinely love him. I’m really happy” then again I would do what Robyn’s dad did and give them all my support.

‘If they came and told me, “Dad I really want this, I’m really happy. He’s good to me and I’m really, really not into all these young boys with big muscles and flash fancy cars. I do like this person I’m with. I’m happier and more content”.

He added: ‘I’d support my daughter all the way with it 100%… The best thing about being a dad is always being there for your daughter.’
