Cindy Crawford’s bungling British ‘stalker’ is arrested in LA after travelling 5,000 miles to tell the model ‘they have a child’… not realising she’s in France for Paris Fashion Week

A British man has been arrested in Los Angeles after flying to the United States in a desperate attempt to contact supermodel Cindy Crawford, with whom he claims to have a child.  

Mohammed Kler was taken into custody and charged with stalking after security guards at the property shared by Crawford, her husband Rande Gerber and their two children were alerted to repeated banging on the windows and doors. 

The 51-year old Kler had made the 5,000 mile journey from his home in England, reportedly to confront Crawford with the outlandish claim that he has fathered a child with her. 

However he was unaware that she is currently in neighbouring France, where she walked the catwalk for Off White at Paris Fashion Week on Sunday evening.

The American fashion icon is already a parent to son Presley, 22, and daughter Kaia, 20 – both successful models in their own right – with husband Rande, who she married in 1998. 

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s office confirmed In a statement: ‘On February 27th, 2022, Lost Hills Station deputies responded to a trespassing call.

‘After conducting their investigation, they arrested a male adult suspect for the crime of stalking.

‘It is unknown which part of the UK the suspect is from.’

Separate sources claimed Kler had attempted to explain himself and referred to ‘the kid’ while being apprehended by police, TMZ reports.  

Cindy is currently in France for the bi-annual Paris Fashion Week, with her last appearance coming on Sunday evening as she walked the catwalk for Off White alongside daughter Kaia. 

It’s unclear if the man has previously tried contacting Crawford or any of her family members before.

The supermodel and businessman Gerber were married in the Bahamas in 1998, and will celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary in May.

Crawford began ruling the runways in the 80s and 90s, and has been featured on the cover of every major fashion magazine in addition to posing completely nude for Playboy in 1988.
