Dani Dyer celebrates son Santiago’s first birthday with a three tiered cake, prosecco, Peppa Pig and plenty of fuss from proud grandad Danny

Dani Dyer celebrated Santiago’s first birthday in style as she shared an array of snaps with Instagram followers on Saturday. 

The former Love Island star, 25, and her extended family threw the one-year-old a lavish story book themed bash complete with a three tiered cake, Peppa Pig and bottomless prosecco. 

Dani was glowing as she slipped into a khaki jumpsuit with gold buttons, puff sleeves and flared trousers for the event, where she was joined by dad Danny Dyer, 44.

She wore her blonde locks styled in soft curls that tumbled past her shoulders in a half-up half-down look.

The doting mother beamed as she cradled her son for a sweet picture as they sang Happy Birthday and blew out the candles on his impressive animal themed cake. 

The giant bespoke cake featured a sweet elephant figure on the top tier with an array of jungle animals around the edges.

Proud grandad Danny looked dapper in a black jumper and grey washed out jeans as he laughed with his grandson and Peppa Pig at the party. 

The room was lavishly decorated with baby blue balloon arches, a huge story book and ball pits for the children.  

The next morning Dani shared an adorable photo of Santiago, as he ate cake for breakfast in his high chair. 

This comes as Dani admitted to sharing less pictures of her son Santiago on social media after she and her baby were targeted by cruel trolls.

The former Love Island winner, welcomed her first child to the world with her now-jailed ex Sammy Kimmence, 25, in January last year.

And she has taken to sharing less moments with her offspring with fans online in a bid to protect her and her boy, explaining during an appearance on Steph’s Packed Lunch on Channel 4 on Wednesday: ‘I definitely feel like I do share less with social media. 

‘If you’re having a bit of a down day and you’re not feeling great in yourself and then someone sort of adds it on there, you’re like “well they must be right, then.” So I do definitely think I’ve held back a bit on social media.’  

On people’s reactions, she continued: ‘It took him a little while [to crawl]… He only started crawling at 11 months. 

‘I was excited – it’s more of a drag, I can’t say it’s a crawl, the army crawl – I was so excited and I thought I want to share that because all my friends with babies share it on social media.
