Craig was joined on the CBS talk show by his No Time To Die co-star Rami Malek, 40, who plays the villain in the film.
Malek revealed that he used to insert his head shot into pizza boxes when he was working as a food deliverer in Los Angeles early in his career.
Craig recalled arriving in Los Angeles for the first time with only a debit card that had ’50 bucks on it’ and told how he called Warner Bros for cash so he could get a hotel room without a credit card.
The English actor remembered that the Sheraton Hotel he stayed at was surrounded by freeways ‘and Universal Studios, which I went to three times’.
Malek said he didn’t hesitate when offered the chance to be a Bond villain.

‘No, of course not. It is the greatest franchise we’ve known. Backbone of cinematic history. It’s Bond. And it’s his last one,’ Malek said. ‘No brainer.’
Craig said he was proud that they kept the tragic love story from Casino Royale as part of the plot through the sequels.
‘So somehow we’ve had this narrative all the way through, and that, I don’t know, that feels very unique and I’m incredibly proud of the fact we’ve done that. But it really feels like it tied them all together,’ Craig said.
No Time To Die had its world premiere in London last week followed by its release in cinemas in the UK.
The film, which is the 25th installment in the Bond franchise, will be released in the United States on Friday.
