David Beckham is dressed to impress in a grey suit as he is joined pitchside by sons Romeo and Cruz to watch Inter Miami CF kick off their 2022 season

Football is at the core of the Beckham family. 

And it was a big day for Inter Miami CF president David on Saturday as his Major League Soccer team kicked off their 2022 season at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The suited and booted football icon, 46, looked calm and composed pitchside, with sons Romeo, 19 and Cruz, 17, joining him to watch the match against Chicago unfold.

Romeo, who is already showing signs of following in his father’s footballing footsteps by playing for Inter Miami CF II as a forward, sported the team’s pale pink kit as he took prime front-row seat at the game.  

Meanwhile Cruz, who was recently splashed over the cover of i-D magazine for his debut shoot, was not sportswear clad like the rest of the boys and instead kept it laid-back in a plain white top and jeans. 

During the game, which kicked off at 6.10pm local time, the legendary footballer watched on pensively, and appeared to remain in good spirits amid the team’s 0-0 draw.

David has recently returned from a skiing trip and on Tuesday, posed for some not-so-subtle snaps while promoting his designer watch in yet another advertising campaign.

The football ace donned full ski gear as he reclined on a snowy slope in new Instagram pictures in partnership with Tudor Watch. 

And despite the watch supposedly the focus of the snaps, fans were no doubt distracted by Beckham’s winter gear, with the hunk slipping on a black helmet and ski goggles for the shoot.

He added a white and black patterned jacket and black trousers as he kicked back on the snow while taking a rest from snowboarding.   

Captioning his snaps, he penned: ‘Nice to be back on the slopes.’

And in addition to a busy career as co-owner of Inter Miami CF as well as juggling for kids, David has posed for several advertising campaigns.

The hunk has modelled for the likes of Haig Club Whisky, DB Eyewear and Maserati, as well as featuring in adverts for the likes of H&M, Adidas Armani and Sky.
