Denise Van Outen’s ‘cheating’ ex fiancé Eddie Boxshall showed off his ripped physique in a new shirtless snap shared on Wednesday after their shock split. 

TV star Denise, 47, announced she had broken up with boyfriend of seven years Eddie, 48, on Friday, after he was reportedly caught having phone sex with other women.

Taking to Instagram Eddie flexed his muscles while writing: ‘Be kind to your body and it will be kind to you… healthy body, healthy mind.’

He wrote in full: ‘I’m 49 years young in a few weeks and [have] been a gym goer and keen road and trail runner for most of my life and will continue to do so until my body says otherwise. 

‘I’ve partied hard with friends and socialised for many years too with work clients but there has always got to be a balance. Basically what I’m trying to say is look after yourself regardless if your young, middle aged like me or older.’ [sic]

Eddie also shared an inspirational quote about ‘turning dreams into reality’ on Wednesday after their shock split. 

He took to his Instagram Story to post a selfie after completing a gruelling workout and wrote alongside the snap ‘#postivevibes’. 

Eddie explained: ‘I’m 49 years young in a few weeks and [have] been a gym goer and keen road and trail runner for most of my life and will continue to do so until my body says otherwise’

He then shared even more positive quotes on his Story about how ‘happiness is found within’ and ‘overthinking leads to sadness’.  It comes after the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram earlier this week.   

According to reports Eddie is ‘desperate’ to win Denise back – following the revelation that he was reportedly having phone sex with other women. 

Denise allegedly discovered his infidelities, which included him going on dates with other women as well as the claims of phone sex.

Over the weekend, it was alleged that Eddie has been ‘pulling out all the stops to save their seven-year relationship’ and is ‘staying nearby’ their Essex home in a room above a friend’s pub, in the hopes of being allowed back.

However, Denise is adamant that their romance is over and is ‘determined to move on’ following on from her heartache, according to reports.  

A source told The Sun: ‘Eddie is convinced he can win Denise back and isn’t willing to throw away all of their memories together. He’s pulling out all the stops to save their relationship.

But sources close to the former Dancing On Ice star told the publication that she had already ‘made up her mind’ and ‘determined to move on and very unlikely’ to take him back after his actions.

On Saturday, Eddie cut a solemn figure as he stepped out in Essex on Saturday morning in the wake of news of their split. 

The Sun claimed on Friday that the star and her fiancé who appear on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox together, had gone their separate ways due to the incidents.  

A source told the publication: ‘It’s the very last thing she expected to happen. She thought this was for ever — but while she has been out at work he’s been sat in her home betraying her trust.’ 

According to the newspaper Denise has asked Eddie to leave their home after discovering he had been swapping messages and calls with women he met online and hooking up with another on secret dates.
