Denise Van Outen’s ‘cheating’ ex boyfriend Eddie Boxshall appeared to hit out at her- hours after she broke her silence on their split.
The actress, 47, split from her partner of seven years Eddie, 48, on January 7, after he was reportedly caught having phone sex with other women.
And Eddie took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a number of cryptic quotes, seemingly in reference to Denise’s interview where she detailed their break-up.

And Eddie said his ‘appetite was coming back’ after losing a stone following their break-up as he headed to Ave Mario in Covent Garden for a meal with a pal – and enjoyed a very cheeky cocktail.

Addressing the break up for the first time on Tuesday, Denise explained she was ‘really proud’ of herself for knowing when to walk away.

She said on Radio 2: ‘The one thing I’m really proud of myself for is I do know when to walk away and I don’t like to be taken advantage of.
‘Sometimes it’s been to the detriment of my own career or in my own relationships, but I just feel like it’s really important as a woman to have self-worth and self-respect.
‘I’ve always tried to maintain that in anything that I do in life, generally. More so now as a mother because I feel like I’m a role model and I’ve got to set an example.’

Confirming their split in an Instagram post, Denise wrote: ‘Over the past couple of months, there has been much speculation regarding my relationship with Eddie.
‘It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship.
‘I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made. We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time, especially for our children.’

The DJ took to his Instagram Story to post a beaming snap of presenter Denise, calling her ‘hard working’, ‘driven’ and an ‘amazing mummy’ to her daughter Betsy, 11.
Eddie wrote in his post to her: ‘Regardless of us sadly going our separate ways I have to acknowledge that in our wonderful 7 and a half year relationship I witnessed the hardest working and most driven woman in her business and amazing mummy to Betsy #neverstops #upmostrespect’.
