Doja Cat changed her Twitter name to ‘fart’ after going straight to the company’s new boss Elon Musk for help in changing her moniker on the social networking site.

‘I don’t wanna be christmas forever @elonmusk please help i’ve made a mistake,’ the Grammy-winning pop star, who has frequently changed her name in the past, wrote to Elon on Wednesday.

A half a day later and it appears the high-profile billionaire has lived up to his promise, writing her back late Thursday morning: ‘@DojaCat You should be able to change your name now.’

Twitter lobby: Doja Cat, 27, used profanity to get the attention of Elon Musk so she could get help changing her screen name from Christmas, and 12 hours later the new Twitter boss hits her back that the problem was fixed

In the end, it took Musk about 12 hours to get back to her and tell her the problem with her name had been fixed.

The songstress’ new Twitter username is now ‘fart.’

Doja’s (born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini) problems all started when she changed her name to Christmas before Twitter enacted a new policy, leaving her to settle with the seasonable handle.

In fact, the performer’s dilemma commenced not long after Musk, who purchased Twitter last month, announced that a change in a user’s online name would result in the temporary loss of a checkmark.

Not wanting to have to continue on as Christmas for the foreseeable future, Doja begged for someone to help her.

Straight from the top: Musk, 51, took about 12 hours, but in the end tweeted back to Doja: ‘You should be able to change your name now’

New Instagram photos: At last check, the Boss B**ch star still hadn’t changed her display name yet, but she did share three new photos of herself on Instagram

The Grammy-winning songwriter directed her final tweet on the subject to Musk himself by adding his screen name: ‘I don’t wanna be christmas forever @elonmusk please help i’ve made a mistake.’

Although Doja Cat appeared to be having issues with her Twitter account, she seemed to be just fine with her Instagram, as she shared several shots to her account on Wednesday, and three more new photos of herself on Thursday.

In the new snaps, the singer showed off a new eyeshadow palette while posing for the camera with her raven tresses styled with major bangs.

The Los Angeles native donned an all-black outfit for her post the previous day that included a slightly oversized jacket and a set of knee-high boots.

She later sported a multicolored bodysuit, and her jet-black hair remained free-flowing with bangs in all of the shots.

Doja Cat spoke about her affinity for cosmetics during an interview with Bustle, where she expressed that her personal style was constantly changing.

‘I used to love to do the hot, extra makeup, full baking, lash, big eyeliner vibe. But then I sometimes like to tone it down and do no lash…I change my mind every five seconds. I can’t stick with anything,’ she stated.

The hitmaker went on to express that she saw cosmetics as an extension of her art.

‘I see makeup as doodling. I used to doodle and draw in school…it was one of my favorite pastimes. I really just look at it in that way: I draw on my own face,’ she said.

Doja Cat went on to recall when she first started trying out new approaches to makeup.

‘When I was maybe, like, 14, I bought this [palette] with a ton of eyeshadows. It was every color of the rainbow and more… it was the one palette I could experiment and have fun with,’ she said.
