Ed Sheeran’s wife Cherry Seaborn gives him a kiss on the cheek as the couple put on a cosy display at the UEFA Champions League match in Paris

Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn looked in good spirits as they attended the UEFA Champions League match between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City at Parc des Princes in Paris on Tuesday. 

The singer, 30, put on a loved-up display with his partner as she gave him a kiss on the cheek while they watched the game which was won by Paris Saint-German with a score of 2-0. 

Ipswich Town supporter Ed, who was also joined by his father John, cut a causal figure for the outing, sporting a dark green jacket along with a cream orange printed hoodie and black trousers.

Cherry also opted for a laid back look as she donned a brown jumper with a black top and matching trousers.

Styling her brunette locks into an updo, she completed her look for the day with a pair of hoop earrings.  

Ed and Cherry went to secondary school together and have been dating since 2015, tying the knot in 2019 and welcoming their daughter Lyra the following year.

Last month, Ed announced his upcoming studio album =, which is pronounced equals, will release on October 29.

The singer-songwriter unveiled his 14-song track list which includes his emotionally charged track Visiting Hours.

The Thinking Out Loud hitmaker detailed how the album is ‘really personal’ and confirmed he sees the piece as his ‘coming-of-age record’, having become a father and tied the knot since he last released an album.

Ed revealed his life has changed so much in the past few years after marriage and the birth of his baby girl daughter Lyra Antarctica’s with Cherry.

In a statement he said: ‘= (Equals) is a really personal record and one that means a lot to me. My life changed greatly over the past few years – I got married, became a father, experienced loss, and I reflect on these topics over the course of the album.

The four-time Grammy winner took a break from work and social media in late 2019 after two years of touring in support of his best-selling album ÷ or Divide.

The new album was written and recorded across Suffolk, London, Sweden and Los Angeles.

To coincide with his album news the singer dropped his emotionally charged track Visiting Hours.

Ed wrote the track when he was coming to terms with the loss of his mentor and friend, Michael Gudinski.

Michael who was the founder of Mushroom Records tragically passed away on March 2 at the age of 68.

In the new album, Ed explores the varying degrees of love, loss, resilience and fatherhood, while also processing his reality and career.
