Ellen DeGeneres has teased that another member of the Kardashian-Jenner family is pregnant as she grilled matriarch Kris Jenner on her children's plans for the future.

Appearing on the show, 66 year old Kris was full of gushing words for her son and daughters as always, when the presenter suddenly turned conversation onto the next round of babies in the family.

"Who's going to give you your 12th grandchild do you think?" Ellen, 64, asked, as Kris seemed taken-aback by the question.

As she considered her answer, Kris then turned to the audience for assurance.

"Well, I think it would be nice if it was Kendall. Right?" she asked.

"She's the only one who hasn't had a baby."

Ellen continued to press and asked if the 26 year old model even wants to have children, but Kris insisted it would happen eventually.

"I think she would eventually love to have a baby, yeah," the mum-of-six shared, which prompted Ellen to tease that she actually knows the truth.

"She's not gonna be the 12th though, I think there's going to be one before she's gonna have one," the chat show host boldly declared.

Clearly stunned by Ellen's declaration, Kris seemed worried the TV personality would let something slip, or perhaps have insider information she didn't.

"You do? Who do you think it's going to be?" Kris asked, as Ellen insisted once more she "knew" who it was.

"Oh, are they already pregnant? And I don't know about it?" Kris teased, unwilling to fall for the bait.

"Yep," Ellen said, and finally her straight face faltered.

"Please tell me," Kris begged, as Ellen laughed: "Like I know something!"

It comes amid recent speculation that Kourtney Kardashian, 42, is pregnant with her fourth child and her first with fiancé Travis Barker, 46.

She already is mum to children Mason, Penelope and Reign with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, but reports continue to suggest the star is looking to expand her family with the Blink-182 drummer.

The most recent family member to welcome a new child was Kylie Jenner, 24, who gave birth to her son Wolf with partner Travis Scott, earlier this month.
