Emily Blunt revealed that her brother-in-law Stanley Tucci enjoys being a sex symbol on Thursday while promoting her new Western drama series on a talk show.

The 39-year-old British actress during an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert was asked by the 58-year-old host about her Thanksgiving plans and if they included her sister Felicity, 42, and her husband Stanley who turned 62 on Friday.

‘We do a Blunt-Tucci. We have gone to them. They have come to us. He’s an amazing cook, but she’s an amazing cook as well,’ Emily said while wearing an all-white outfit that included a bandeau top.

‘I mean, Stanley makes a fantastic Christmas cosmo. Can you believe that? He’s a sex symbol now,’ Emily said.

‘Here’s the thing. I totally buy it because talent is a great aphrodisiac, if you know what I mean,’ Stephen said.

Stephen asked Emily if she was shocked by his sex symbol status.

‘I think he’s shocked,’ Emily said.

‘No, I think he is,’ Emily said.

‘Really? He doesn’t act like he is. He acts like, ”Finally, they’ve noticed”,’ Stephen said to applause from the audience.

‘But it’s amazing that it took a sort of irreverent video on Instagram that my sister told him to post and then he became a sex symbol. But I asked him, “Do you like it deep down? Do you like being a sex symbol?” And he goes, ”I mean, yeah”,’ Emily shared.

‘He’s honest,’ Stephen said.

Emily was on the CBS talk show promoting her Western drama miniseries The English that became available for streaming on Friday on Amazon Prime Video.

She also is an executive producer of the miniseries and said she loves being involved in the whole process.

‘I feel like during the course of shooting I do the acting stuff. But I love the preamble to it. I love building stories. I loved the whole creative process. And I loved the aftermath. I loved the color timing and the editing and the music. I’m just a geek for it. It’s become something. I’ve been around the block for a while now, so I don’t want to just act,’ Emily said.

Emily also revealed that she really had to learn how to ride a horse after claiming ‘like every actor’ that she knew how to ride.

‘It’s one of those things that you say, but it’s not true,’ she said.

The actress said she loved learning how to ride, but also was ‘very allergic to horses.’

Emily said she had to take ‘massive tranquilizing antihistamine’ every day and described it as a ‘horse pill, literally’.

Stephen shared a photo of a young Emily at age four presenting Princess Margaret with flowers.

‘Now, look, I don’t know if you can quite see, but I’m in a very deep lunge, which is, I guess, what I thought was a curtsy,’ Emily said.

She then admitted the curtsy is part of her workout routine.

‘As part of my workout routine, I work out with this amazing trainer called Monique Eastwood, and we do these, we do curtsies. It’s good for your booty,’ Emily said.

She then taught Stephen how to properly curtsy and they ended her interview with joint curtsies.

Emily has been married since 2010 to John Krasinski, 43, and they have daughters Hazel, eight, and six-year-old Violet together.
