Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy’s eldest daughter graduated from high school.
Sophia Grace Macy, 18, graduated from the Los Angeles High School of the Arts Monday afternoon and her proud parents were on hand to celebrate her achievement, according to pictures obtained by TMZ.
But the occasion is bittersweet.
The commencement comes as Huffman is entangled in the nation’s largest college admissions scandal, where she’s accused of paying $15,000 to have Sophia Grace’s SAT answers corrected.
The “When They See Us” actress tearfully pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud on May 13, becoming the highest-profile defendant to admit to crimes in the blockbuster case.

Prosecutors recommended Huffman receive a four-month prison term, substantially lower than the maximum 20 years the charges carry. She will be sentenced on Sept. 13.
In April, Huffman publicly apologized for her actions, saying she was in “deep regret and shame over what I have done” and accepted “full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions.”
She said Sophia Grace “knew absolutely nothing” about her actions.
Huffman and Macy, who was not charged in the case, are also parents to 17-year-old daughter Georgia Grace.

In January, Macy talked to Parade about the pressure that came with his oldest daughter applying for college.
“My daughter Sophia, the oldest, is going to LAHSA (Los Angeles High School of the Arts). She’s thriving there. … She’s going to go to college,” he told the publication. “We’re right now in the thick of college application time, which is so stressful. I am voting that once she gets accepted, she maybe takes a year off (to pursue acting).”
Sophia Grace’s after-school plans remain unclear.
