She was showered with love from her nearest and dearest as she marked her 40th birthday over the weekend.

And Gemma Collins entered the new chapter in her life with a bang as she detailed her ‘essential lockdown skincare routine’ in an Instagram clip shared on Monday.

The TOWIE star – who lost three stone last year – looked radiant as she removed blackheads from her face with a vacuum tool by Serene Vibe.

Despite sporting matte make-up, the media personality’s youthful-looking complexion was still on display.

The TV star shared: ‘Hi guys, I am using my blackhead user – it’s like a massage on the skin.

‘It comes with face different heads for five different things, such as anti-wrinkle, exfoliating and it even plumps up the oxygen in your skin.

‘This is literally my favourite thing to do, it’s become essential in my lockdown skincare routine.’

Last month, the influencer celebrated her birthday in typically flamboyant style when she shared a photo of a huge balloon display for the big occasion.

The podcaster revealed she received the personalised hot pink and gold gift from none other than her on-off boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent, 33.

The birthday girl posted a shot of the balloons – which featured ‘The GC’ and ’40’ with a crown and champagne bottle – as she wrote: ‘Thank you Arg for the lovely balloons.’

Earlier in the day, she kicked off her birthday posts with a shot of the display, writing: ‘I’m so overwhelmed with the gifts, flowers and everything being sent!! Thank you.’

Wow! Last month, the influencer celebrated her birthday in typically flamboyant style when she shared a photo of a huge balloon display for the big occasion from her ex James Argent 

At the time, she thanked BalloonWallsUK for the gift, only for the Essex-based company to later tag Arg’s as the one responsible for the gift.

As she greeted her birthday on Sunday, Gemma penned: ‘I have GRACED this EARTH for 40 !!! Years… thank you to everyone who is making videos of me (sic).’

Back in July, the blonde shared details of her split from Arg, including a barrage of abusive messages from the crooner, in which he sent horrendous slurs.

However, the war of words between the longtime on-off pair appears to have been well and truly settled, as there have been sightings of them dining together since.

Meanwhile, Gemma revealed her dad’s recovery from COVID-19 is the ‘biggest gift of all’. 

Last year, the reality star revealed she had shed three stone after using her time in lockdown to focus on her health and preparing nutritionally balanced meals. 

The former Dancing On Ice personality recently shared her hopes of becoming a mother this year, six months after suffering a third miscarriage with her ex James’ baby. 

The businesswoman spoke out about her ‘2021 goals’ in a new episode of her eponymous BBC Sounds podcast, declaring: ‘I feel that it’s going to happen for me.’
