Gigi Hadid apologized for causing a ‘commotion’ with her sweet comment on Rihanna latest post, in which she showed of her burgeoning baby bump.

On Wednesday, the supermodel sparked speculation among fans that the 33-year-old Fenty Beauty founder, 33, may be expecting twins after writing ‘three angels’ under her pal’s pregnancy announcement on Instagram. 

Three days after fueling rumors that the singer had two little ones on the way, the mom-of-one clarified she was referring to Riri, A$AP Rocky and their future child.

‘I just caught word of this commotion. I meant rih / rocky / baby lol,’ she explained under her previous comment. 

Hadid has collaborated with Rihanna multiples times, including walking in her lingerie brand’s Savage X Fenty Volume 3 fashion show in September. 

Rihanna and Rocky, 33, shared their baby news with a striking photoshoot as the singer bared her growing baby bump in an open pink coat, during a walk through the streets of New York.

After the news broke an insider gushed to People that Rihanna ‘couldn’t be happier and is so excited to be a mom.’

Said the source: ”Having a baby is something she was never focused on, but being with Rocky opened her up to the idea.’

The insider continued: ‘She’s loving all the changes to her body during pregnancy and has always celebrated pregnant women in her runway shows for Fenty.’

According to the source: ‘Everything Rihanna does, she does it her own way on her own time table, and having a baby is no different.’

Rihanna and Rocky are ‘just like any other pair of parents-to-be. Yes, they happen to be famous but they’re just the cutest, giddiest young couple that’s expecting kids.’

To hear the insider tell it: ‘A lot of guys have tried to sweep her off her feet, but Rocky actually managed to do it.’

Rocky is ‘over-the-top romantic and sends her rooms full of flowers all the time. She’s never felt this way before and this relationship has changed her.’

Rihanna’s father Ronald, whom she feuded with as recently as 2019 and whom she has accused of being violent with her in the past, issued a warm public reaction to the news that she is pregnant.

The S&M singer apparently introduced Rocky to her father, and to other family members, during a trip to Barbados near the end of 2020.

Rocky also spoke about the feeling of ‘homecoming’ he experienced during his trip to Barbados with his girlfriend.

‘It was crazy. I always imagined what it would be like for my dad, before he came to America,’ the Babushka Boi rapper shared. ‘And I got to visit those places, and believe it or not, there was something nostalgic about it. It was foreign but familiar.’
