Wow: Gregg Wallace, 56, showcased the impressive results of his health overhaul on Saturday, telling his Instagram followers he’s ‘fitter at 56 than 26’ while lifting up his shirt

Clenching his fist as he posed practically shirtless, the MasterChef star looked impressively sculpted.

He teamed his blue top with grey gym shorts while standing against a wall in his stylish family home.

In February, Gregg revealed he’s the happiest he’s ever been with wife Anna, 34, who is 21 years his junior, and son Sid, 21 months.

Addressing his health overhaul, Gregg told MailOnline: ‘I had enormous cholesterol. The doctor rang me seven years ago and said: ”We’ve got to sort this out right now or you will have a massive coronary”.’

The presenter, who now works out with his personal trainer seven days a week, said: ‘I am pretty fit now but my belly bloats.

‘I am twelve stone and less than eighteen percent fat, but my belly bloats so everyone just thinks my diet is bad or I drink loads of beer. I don’t.’

Gregg previously admitted that his younger wife Anna was one of the reasons behind him shedding the pounds as he didn’t want her to have a ‘fat old husband’.

The presenter also said he wanted to be ‘fit and healthy’ for their young son Sid after doctors warned him he was heading for a heart attack if he didn’t change his ways.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Gregg who also has two grown-up children with ex-wife Denise, says his youngest child gave him the ultimate motivation to overhaul his physique.
