Gwyneth Paltrow takes to the stage and flashes a smile despite being ‘so ill’ at star-studded Baby2Baby Gala

She’s one of the most hardworking women in Hollywood. 

And despite being incredibly sick, Gwyneth Paltrow pulled through and still made it to the Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night. 

The 47-year-old skipped the red carpet but appeared incredibly glam when she took to the stage to present an award.

Gwyneth rocked a peach colored frock that featured a pleat design at the bottom. 

The dress was short sleeved and drew attention to her trim physique. 

She styled her blonde hair out straight and it was flipped over to one side.

Gwyneth’s glam was kept simple with blushed cheeks and a pop of red on her lips. 

Taking to her Instagram Stories ahead of the gala, the beauty revealed that she was very much under the weather. 

‘I’m so ill but I have to pop in to an event thank god for @georgieeisdell and @teddycharles35,’ she captioned – tagging her glam team.

Other attendees included Kate Hudson, Nicole Richie, Katy Perry and Chrissy Teigen – who was honored by the Giving Tree Award. 

Presented by her husband, John Legend, the mother-of-two said she was ‘honored to be honored.’ 

‘No kid should go hungry. No kid should not go without the basics in their home,’ she said in her speech.

Other attendees included: Co-president Kelly Sawyer Patricof, Jessica Alba, Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson and Baby2Baby Co-president Norah Weinstein

Chrissy also opened up about how she tries to instill giving back in her young children, Luna, three, and Miles, one. 

‘Luna is no stranger to packing up all of her toys and sending them off, and knowing that people are going to open them and love them more and be so excited by them,’ she said.
