Hannah Elizabeth has hit back at trolls who criticised her for having a blow-dry and makeover for the birth of her son Reggie. 

The Love Island star, 29, who welcomed her first child to the world two weeks ago, took to Instagram on Monday to defend her decision to look uber glamorous. 

‘Yes haters I did have makeup on after giving birth. Actually I had had a curly blow, pins curls the lot,’ Hannah said defiantly.

‘I wasn’t gonna meet my son for the first time and best day of my life rough was I?

‘I had a C-section so birth was planned chilled and AMAZING.’ (sic)

The backlash comes after Hannah revealed her extensive glam routine, in which she had new lashes and a bouncy blow-dry to prepare herself for her imminent arrival.

The reality star revealed she had a set of nails applied – however only nine were in place, seemingly to make space for the blood pressure clip on her finger.

Hannah took to Instagram on November 6 to reveal she is the proud mother of a baby boy following a planned cesarean.

Alongside a picture of a blue balloon in her hospital room, she penned: ‘Best day of my life. I’m so in love and happy right now, words can’t describe.’

Hannah, who shares her newborn with ex-fiancé George Andreetti, kept fans up to date with her progress, snapping selfies from her hospital bed.  

Hannah recently told MailOnline she was preparing to become a single mother ‘with no support’ after splitting from fiancé George.

The reality star confirmed she called off their engagement when she discovered she was pregnant in order to ‘do what was best’ for her baby.

The Playboy bunny revealed: ‘I left George when I found out I was pregnant, I had to do what is right for me and my baby.’

She continued: ‘He isn’t well at the minute and I don’t agree with what he is posting online. I’m going into this as a single mum, on my own with no support.

‘I want my baby to have the best and healthiest upbringing and I am not going to let anyone come between that.’ 

George told MailOnline: ‘I will always have her back whenever she needs it hopefully she can reach out to me and let me be there for my son as a father should.’

George, who also goes by the name of Merlin, believes he is a wizard. 

Hannah and George announced their engagement in March 2018. The couple had been friends for years before romance blossomed.

In May this year, the couple delightedly announced they were expecting their first child.

Hannah first rose to fame on season one of Love Island in 2015, when she and Jon Clarke finished as runners up to Jessica Hayes and Max Morley.

The couple became engaged on the show, but within three months of leaving the villa, their romance fell apart.
