Holly Willoughby is left emotional for the third day in a row as she issues update on Ukrainian girl who sang Let It Go inside a bomb shelter

Holly Willoughby was left emotional again on Wednesday when she was updated on the whereabouts of the Ukrainian girl, seven, who went viral singing Let It Go from Disney’s Frozen.

Earlier this week, the TV presenter, 41, was moved to tears on Monday as she watched footage of a little girl singing to keep everyone’s spirits up inside a bomb shelter in Kyiv.

The world has been touched by the heartbreaking scenes coming out of Ukraine in recent weeks following the Russian invasion, with Holly unable to hold back as she was played the video.

Emotional: Holly, who was sat next to Phil, was clearly emotional and couldn’t look at the camera.

On Wednesday, co-host Phillip Schofield provided both Holly and viewers with a much needed update.

He said:  ‘We were reporting earlier in the week – and it was very upsetting to see – about Amelia Anisovych, who went viral last week singing Let It Go from Frozen in a bunker in Kyiv.

‘The latest news on her is that she’s made it safely out of Ukraine. She’s now with her brother.’

However a Holly, who was sat next to Phil, was clearly emotional and couldn’t look at the camera.

Touching: In the viral clip, a little girl named Amelia is seen trying to rouse everyone’s spirits with a performance of Let It Go from Disney’s Frozen

The mum of three then muttered that Amelia had escaped, but ‘not with her parents’.

On Monday’s show Holly said through tears, after first seeing the video: ‘Such innocence, isn’t it,’.

While the shows guest Gyles Brandreth added: ‘We’re seeing the worst and the best of humanity in this crisis aren’t we?’

Innocent: As Holly was left in tears she said: ‘Such innocence, isn’t it,’ while Phillip Schofield was seen choking up alongside her

Camilla Tominey then noted: ‘I hadn’t seen that before actually. She’s the age of my youngest daughter. It’s awful.’

An emotional Holly went on, ‘It’s horrible, it’s horrible,’ before Phillip Schofield threw to a break.

Holly later told ITV News host Mary Nightingale, ‘We all just fell to pieces there’, as the pair discussed reporting on the war.

The video of Amelia singing Let It Go was first posted to Facebook on Thursday by Marta Smekhova, who says she filmed it with permission from the girl’s mother.

‘From the first word in the [bomb shelter] came complete silence… everyone put their business aside and listen[ed] to a song by this girl who was just beaming light… even men couldn’t hold back the tears,’ Marta wrote.

It is unclear when the video was taken or where in Kyiv the shelter is located.

The footage had been shared 99,000 times on Facebook at the time it was aired. It has been reposted on various social media sites, with each version racking up tens of thousands of views.

In the video, Amelia belts out a version of Let It Go for those sheltering in the bunker.

The song was originally recorded for the soundtrack of the animated Disney film Frozen. Sung by actress Idina Menzel and written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, it won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100.

In 2014, Disney released a compilation of 42 foreign-language versions of the song, including translations in Ukrainian and Russian.
