Holly Willoughby pays homage to royal baby as Meghan Markle gives birth

Holly Willoughby has returned to This Morning today with baby fever, after the royal baby was born on Monday morning.

The presenter added a touch of class to Tuesday’s proceedings as she paid homage to the newborn son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Taking to her Instagram earlier today the 38-year-old stunned followers with a brilliant blue, flowing Ganni gown.

The asymmetrical number retails for £300 on Net-A-Porter, in case you were wanting to channel a little Holly Willoughby X Baby Sussex magic of your own today.

‘Happy Tuesday… Congratulations @sussexroyal on the arrival of your baby boy… what wonderful news,’ she wrote alongside the photo.

‘Enjoy these first precious moments, there is nothing quite like it…’

Are we crying or is it just getting a little misty in here?

She loves her nude pumps and today was no exception as she dragged them out of the wardrobe for another spin alongside the high-necked, lace dress.

Seriously, the Gianvito Rossi kicks are getting such a workout we can only assume they’re the most comfortable heels in the world. What a selling point!

Followers of Hols were loving the look as they took to the comments section to sound off their feels.

‘Love this dress! Awesome colour, very fitting for the special Royal Announcement,’ one very excited punter wrote.

Another echoed those sentiments, as they chimed in: ‘Aptly chosen Holly, you look gorgeous!’

It comes after the brilliant news the Duchess Of Sussex delivered a baby boy in the early hours of yesterday.

Both the Duke and Duchess are said to be thrilled at the arrival of the new Royal baby, who weighed 7lbs 3oz and was born at 5.26am.

The new arrival was announced on Instagram this afternoon, with Harry making a short public statement after.

He said: ‘We have a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It has been the most amazing experience I could have ever possibly imagined.

‘How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. I’m absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support out there. It has been amazing.’
