Congratulations are in order for former Hollyoaks star Scarlett Bowman, who has given birth to her second child with husband, Rob Colicci.

The 35 year old – who played the role of Maddie Morrison in the popular soap – revealed the delightful news by sharing a sweet picture of her newborn sleeping soundly in her cot.

She revealed the name of her little girl, writing in the caption: "Juno Rose Colicci. Arrived earth side on 08.06.21 weighing 7 and a half pounds. We are in loveeee."

In another image, the former soap star shared a sweet black and white snap from the hospital where she cradled her baby in her arms while joined by husband Rob.

Scarlett thanked her other half for his support during delivery, writing: ""Welcome to this crazy world little lady. @robcolicci is our hero for looking after us we love you x x x."

Among Scarlett's well-wishers was her sister-in-law and Revenge actress Emily VanCamp, who liked the snap.

Marvel star Emily is married to Scarlett's actor brother Josh Bowman.

They both starred together in American drama series Revenge, and they met on set.

Meanwhile, Scarlett wed her partner Rob back in 2016 during a lavish ceremony in Portofino, Italy, before welcoming a son.

She had since been documenting her second pregnancy on Instagram.

Scarlett's run on Hollyoaks came to an end in 2012 after her character was involved in a fatal bus crash.

She has since left acting behind to pursue other opportunities, such as her artwork.

She is the founder and creator of the brand, Projects On Walls, which "sources and curates art for residential and commercial interiors."
