Owen Warner left fans puzzled on Monday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! as he made a very blatant error during the Bushtucker Trial.

The Hollyoaks actor, 23, bagged an impressive nine out of nine stars as he took on the Boiling Point challenge but kept repeating a certain phrase that led to confusion.

As he dived into various tunnels and rooms full of water and critters, he kept shouting: ‘Get me out of here! Get me out of this room!’

Oh no: Owen Warner left fans puzzled on Monday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! as he made a very confusing error during the Bushtucker Trial

But typically celebs who shout ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!’ want to quit the trail and are quickly pulled out and leave without any stars.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly laughed when he first started shouting the phrase after coming across a huge python in one of the rooms.

But as it continued Ant then shouted: ‘What did you say?’, before a bemused Dec added: ‘You’re not saying that, are you?!’

Whoops: The Hollyoaks actor, 23, bagged an impressive nine out of nine stars as he took on the Boiling Point challenge but kept repeating a certain phrase that led to confusion

Taking to social media during the episode, fans were quick to react to Owen’s mistake.

One tweeted: ‘Only Owen could say #ImACeleb get me out of here, by accident!’

Another confused fan asked: ‘Didn’t the celebrity previously lose all stars (including ones they had already collected) when they shouted ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!’ during the trial? If so, why did @ITV change this?’

Error: As he dived into various tunnels and rooms full of water and critters, he kept shouting: ‘Get me out of here! Get me out of this room!’

The episode saw the return of the Boiling Point challenge, with Owen being the second contestant to take part in the trial so far this series, after Chris Moyles was originally called up last week.

Chris, 48, only managed to bag just one star during the ordeal last week, with the camp nominating Owen to face it this time, yelling: ‘We eating good tonight!’ as he delivered the good news afterwards.

The camp were given the task of nominating someone to face the returning trial, as Babatúndé Aleshe read a laminate: ‘Celebrities, today’s Trial is called Boiling Point: The Return. It is up to you to decide which celebrity takes part.’

Chris, who struggled with the challenge last week, joked in the Bush Telegraph: ‘I really wanted to have another go at Boiling Point because I did such a brilliant job last time… oh no, that’s right, I basically panicked and ended up with one star. That was it.’

While Owen offered himself up as he told his campmates that he was a strong swimmer and hadn’t faced a physical trial in the series so far.

Matt Hancock was also keen to take it on, despite having faced countless trials so far, but let Owen have the opportunity.

Owen admitted in the Bush Telegraph: ‘I’ve wanted to do quite a physical challenge. I feel like all mine have been just getting gunked… I’d like to do something physical.’

Seann Walsh described the actor as ‘invincible’, as he shared: He’s not afraid of anything. You need someone to do a Trial, look at the abs. If you’ve got the most, get out there.’

Admitting he had a one track mind, Owen said: ‘I’m going to go in there and think about food. I reckon I’ll do it in less than a minute with that mindset.’

Shock: As the use of the phrase continued Ant then shouted: ‘What did you say?’, before a bemused Dec added: ‘You’re not saying that, are you?!’

Arriving to the trial area, hosts Ant and Dec asked Owen why he’d chosen to do the Trial, with the star replying: ‘No-one else really fancied the Trial to be honest. Chris didn’t really sell this one to anyone.’

Dec said: ‘This is the one that Chris struggled with. Do you think you can do better?’ as the soap star said that he’d be ok if he ‘keeps his cool’.

In typical I’m A Celeb style, Owen wasn’t alone inside the trial, as he entered a room with two pythons in it, sharing: ‘I didn’t even see that!’

LOL: Taking to social media during the episode, fans were quick to react to Owen’s mistake. One tweeted: ‘Only Owen could say #ImACeleb get me out of here, by accident!’

Reaction: Another confused fan asked: ‘Didn’t the celebrity previously lose all stars (including ones they had already collected) when they shouted ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!’ during the trial? If so, why did @ITV change this?’

Into another room with more snakes Owen said: ‘Oh hello! Oh my days… Oh stay away from me.’

Ending the trial with a full house of nine stars and time to spare, he triumphantly returned to camp, shouting: ‘We eating good tonight!’

And while the overjoyed camp were filled with glee, a red-faced Chris said in the Bush Telegraph: ‘How bad does this make me look now, you know? One star/ all the stars, ran out of time/ had time left on the clock.’

Well done! Ending the trial with a full house of nine stars and time to spare, he triumphantly returned to camp, shouting: ‘We eating good tonight!’

Producers were keen to reuse the trial after Chris only walked away with one star for camp earlier in the series.

During the challenge, the broadcaster struggled with his surroundings, lost his bag as well as the spanners he was using to unscrew the stars.

He was forced to use the final few minutes of the challenge to retrieve the items – but he was only able to rescue one of the two stars he’d collected.

Creepy: In typical I’m A Celeb style, Owen wasn’t alone inside the trial, as he entered a room with two pythons and spiders in it, sharing: ‘I didn’t even see that!’
