The former Married at First Sight star assured her they’d be together again in ‘four days’ when the show ends.

And in his exit interview following his departure from camp, Ryan insisted their relationship was the real deal.

Answering host Julia Morris when she asked if the pair were in a ‘showmance’, Ryan insisted he wanted to carry on the romance in the real world.

‘I’m happy to keep going. Obviously I’d love it to keep going outside the show. That’s for us to see what happens on the outside. I really do like her,’ he insisted.

Ryan went on: ‘I don’t do things for cameras. It’s not a put on. It is what it is. I do genuinely like her’.

As to whether the pair were now officially a couple, Ryan was more coy, adding: ‘We’ve discussed it. You don’t want to put a label on it.’

Ryan was raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation while on the show, in honour of his mum who is battling the disease.

‘My mum has battled it… She’s had cancer five times and each time she’s beaten it. It’s amazing. The main focus was if you can find a cure, I’d love for another child not to go through that, or a mother to not worry about their child,’ he said.

Myf Warhurst was meanwhile playing for charity Pets of the Homeless Australia, explaining: ‘They look after not just the pets of the homeless but people who are disadvantaged, financially struggling, people enduring domestic violence’.
