Inside Katie Price and Carl Woods’ staycation: Family enjoy safari fun, hot tub dips, cooking and a pamper session during idyllic weekend trip

Katie Price and Carl Woods have offered fans a glimpse into their idyllic family staycation in a number of posts shared on social media.

Taking to Instagram over Saturday and Sunday, the newly engaged couple shared a number of pictures and videos from their break away in Henllehall. 

The most recent picture, shared by both Katie, 42, and Carl, 32, the whole family are seen grinning widely while sat in a car during a safari trip.

Carl described the safari as a ‘family fun day’, while Katie wrote: ‘Family day out at another safari with @carljwoods @officialprincessandre Bunny and Jett’.

And yesterday, Katie kicked the trip off by getting her nails done with daughter Princess, 13.

Princess uploaded images of the nail treatment she was getting alongside her mother to her own Instagram account.

Featuring as almost a centre-piece in the nail grooming images was the sight of a large diamond ring on Katie’s finger.

Princess also took to her social media channels to share a video of a box of treats they were munching their way through during the journey to their luxury getaway. 

Elsewhere, after the family arrived at their holiday destination, Carl posted a number of short videos on his Instagram story, showing off the hot tub that the family were going to enjoy – with six-year-old Bunny wasting no time in giving it a go. 

Carl also shared a number of other short videos showing off the accommodation that the family are staying it, in an area that he and Katie have visited previously. 

The lodge the family are staying looked like a countryside cabin, with wooden walls and a wood burning fire.

Later in the day on Saturday, Katie uploaded a video showing her giving Princess a cooking masterclass and teaching her how to cook spaghetti carbonara.

While the pair were busy beavering away in the kitchen, Carl took the opportunity to film them and playfully said: ‘Look at ’em in their matching tracksuits – unbelievable, and Bunny, look!’

Although the trip is a family holiday, Katie’s two eldest sons, Junior, 15, and Harvey, 18, were not seen in any of the videos or pictures and do not appear to be on the holiday. 

Carl and Katie got engaged last month after having started dating last year and recently revealed she will legally change her surname for the first time when she marries fiancé Carl Woods, but all three of her ex-husbands have been forbidden from attending the wedding.

After previously retaining her maiden name, Katie will take the name Woods when she finally exchanges vows with the 32-year old. 

Speaking to the Mirror on Sunday, she revealed: ‘I’m going to change it legally and be known as Katie Woods. I’m proud of it. It’s going to be a new me and a new era.   

‘It’s the first and last time the ring is going to be off my finger. My head’s in the right place. Not only am I head over heels in love, my kids approve and my family approve. It’s not a rash decision.’ 

Carl asked the former model’s dad and her son Junior for permission before he popped the question and was given a ‘talking to’ by her 15-year-old.

The couple also said they intended to marry later this year in an unconventional ceremony that ‘no one has ever done’ before. 

But Katie insists the wedding will be a low key affair with celebrity friends and ex-husbands banned from attending. 

She told Notebook magazine: ‘I want the focus on Carl as much as me, this is his special day, too. No wall-to-wall celeb faces. It’ll be about us, Carl and our family, coming together as one.’
