Ireland Baldwin has given birth to a baby girl named Holland, she joyfully revealed on Instagram this Tuesday.
The 27-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin welcomed her first child with her musician beau RAC, whose real name is André Allen Anjos.
RAC and Ireland, who have been together since 2021, posed together for a tender photo that showed her cradling their little bundle of joy.
Meanwhile RAC could be seen snuggling up to the mother of his child as they sat together in her hospital bed after a successful delivery.
In her caption, Ireland revealed that she had stuck to the plan she and RAC made months ago and named their daughter Holland.

‘We’re naming her Holland,’ she told Girlboss Radio in January. ‘I’m Ireland, so we chose another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent.’
She explained that another reason for their decision was that ‘I love the actress Holland Taylor. I’ve always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we’re going with Holland.’
Ireland and RAC broke the news that she was expecting on New Year’s Eve, wishing the fans: ‘Happy New Year’ with a sonogram on social media.
Her headline-grabbing pregnancy included a burlesque-themed baby shower thrown at the Hollywood strip club Jumbo’s Clown Room.
But the process of welcoming her firstborn child was not all fun and games for Ireland, whose mother is LA Confidential actress Kim Basinger.
‘Pregnancy is hard,’ she wrote on Instagram in January. ‘It takes so much out of you. I wasn’t ready for that. I’ve always wanted a baby with the right person.’
Ireland’s own childhood unfolded against the backdrop of her parents’ nasty split, which included a rancorous custody battle that dragged on for years.
The drama reached a nadir in 2007, when Alec left 11-year-old Ireland a scathing voicemail branding her a ‘rude, thoughtless little pig’ after she missed a phone call from him that she had known was coming.

‘I grew up with a very jaded perception of what love really looked like and I always wanted to have a child of my own with someone who would treat us right and love us unconditionally,’ Ireland shared during her own pregnancy.
She confessed that she ‘underestimated just how hard pregnancy would be on my mind and my body. Being someone with extreme health anxiety on a daily basis, pregnancy has turned things in a high gear.’
Ireland openly ‘struggled to adapt to these changes’ such as ‘bodily sensations,’ ‘pains and aches,’ and ‘organs going to s**t randomly.’
The showbiz legacy was tormented by thoughts like: ‘Just wait till the baby gets here, you won’t be getting any sleep’ b***h, I don’t sleep now. SHUT UP.’
She wrote: ‘I’m exhausted. I’m unmotivated. I feel like life is passing by and my career hasn’t even begun. It’s hard coming on here and seeing mutuals dressing up for events, getting drinks, working on sets, going to school. It’s hard feeling alone.’
Showering praise on RAC, she gushed: ‘I have my boyfriend who without him, I think I would have lost my mind. He’s everything and more to me but man, it’s hard moving somewhere with no family.’
Ireland’s pregnancy struggles dramatically coincided with a family crisis when her father was slapped with a manslaughter charge in January.
Alec accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins with a prop gun on the set of the western Rust in late 2021.

At the dawn of this year, weeks after Ireland announced she was expecting, Alec and the film’s armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed were charged with involuntary manslaughter, with both facing up to 18 months behind bars if convicted.
Last month, however, the charges against Alec were dropped and Rust resumed production with Halyna’s widower Matthew Hutchins as an executive producer.
Halyna’s family filed a wrongful death action last February, but dropped the suit in a settlement that gave Matthew his EP role on the project.
Meanwhile the case against the armorer is going ahead, and the New York Post has reported she has hearings scheduled for August.
Rust wrapped filming earlier this week and is purportedly now being hawked at the Cannes Film Festival for international distribution.
