Ariana Grande’s year just keeps getting better.
In addition to joining the upcoming season of The Voice and getting married, the singer might be expanding her career by launching her very own makeup line. And the best part, she is allegedly looking to name the beauty brand after one of her most popular songs.
Ariana Grande reportedly filed a trademark for a line of beauty products
It seems that Grande might soon be joining the growing list of celebrity beauty moguls.
According to makeup news site Trendmood, the Grammy winner has filed a trademark for a line of makeup, skin, and hair products. The line will reportedly include everything from mists, soufflés, and perfumes to shower and bath gels.
As for the name, Grande is allegedly looking to call the beauty line “God Is a Woman,” titled after her 2018 hit single.
The “Positions” hitmaker has long been a beauty icon with her memorable fashions, high ponytail, and signature winged eyeliner. She’s even dabbled in the beauty industry, helping makeup artist, Patrick Ta, launch his own beauty line in 2018.
“I am launching my first beauty line and I am so excited about it because I’ve worked so hard on the formulas and they’re just so beautiful,” Ta wrote on Instagram at the time, per Kiss FM. “So it hasn’t launched yet but I will be posting on my Instagram some of the products soon. I will be using them on my clients and I wonder if you guys can guess what I’m coming out with.”
Grande has also partnered with M.A.C. Cosmetics to release her own Viva Glam Lipstick in 2016 and has launched several perfumes over the last few years.
Per Harpers Bazaar, her six fragrances — Cloud, R.E.M., Thank U Next, Sweet Like Candy, Ari, and Moonlight — have made the singer millions of dollars, with the latter three earning her $150 million in 2017 alone.
The beauty line is Ariana Grande’s latest business venture
Though she will soon have her hands full with making music and overseeing her own beauty line, these business ventures won’t be the only things keeping Grande busy in the near future.
On top of her music and makeup brand, the singer will soon be a judge on Season 21 of NBC’s hit singing competition series, The Voice.
Grande announced this exciting news on March 30, 2021. “Surprise,” she tweeted. “I am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice.”
The singer will be replacing Nick Jonas on the judges panel and receiving a hefty salary for her time and expertise.
On an episode of iHeart Radio’s Naughty But Nice podcast, it was revealed that Grande would be earning between $20 and $25 million for the coaching gig, making her the highest-paid judge on The Voice.
It appears that Grande has a lot to look forward to, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come!
