Jane Fonda to be honored with the Cecil B. deMille Award at 2021 Golden Globes for her storied 60 year career

The 83-year-old American actress will be taking the stage at The Beverly Hilton to accept the honor equivalent to the lifetime achievement award at one of Hollywood’s biggest nights on February 28.
As the trophy is given for’outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment,’ Fonda is a more than worthy recipient due to her career in film, television and and being at the forefront of social issues over some 60 years.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), which organizes the Golden Globes, made the announcement on Tuesday.
‘Her undeniable talent has gained her the highest level of recognition, and while her professional life has taken many turns, her unwavering commitment to evoking change has remained,’ HFPA president Ali Sar said in a statement.
Fonda made her professional debut in 1960 on Broadway and on screen.
