Jennifer Garner appears in good spirits as she checks up on the construction at her new home in Brentwood

Her ex-husband is soaking up the spotlight amidst his very public love affair with a famous old flame.

But Jennifer Garner was concentrating on home life on Thursday, when she was spotted coming out of her work-in-progress new home in the upscale Brentwood section of Los Angeles, California.

The Alias star, 49, was relaxed and casual in a white striped T-shirt, which was partially tucked into her high-waisted blue jeans.

Jennifer’s jeans were shredded at the knees.

She walked along in gray sneakers, and at one point carried a yellow notebook, green pen, soft drink beverage and a blue ponytail holder.

The actress and humanitarian smiled slightly while wearing black wayfarer sunglasses, with her brown hair down over her shoulders.

She also had her hair up at one point, after attending a meeting inside that lasted a number of hours.

Garner is a mother to three children with her ex-husband Ben Affleck: daughters Violet, 15, and Seraphina Rose 12, along with son Samuel, nine.

Affleck and Garner were married from 2005 until 2018, but were separated for some years before their divorce was finalized.

Ben has since moved on with a variety of girlfriends, the most famous of whom is none other than Jennifer Lopez.

Ben and JLo were previously an item back in the early aughts, calling off their engagement in early 2004.

Now, 17 years later, Ben is again sparking engagement rumors as he was recently seen shopping for rings and taking notes.

As for Jen Garner, she was previously linked to businessman John Miller after divorcing Affleck.
