Jennifer Lawrence has been pictured with her baby bump on display for the first time as news emerged she is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney.   

In exclusive pictures obtained by DailyMail.com, the actress, 31, showed off her growing bump in a pair of floral overalls during a stroll through New York City on Wednesday.

The sighting comes as a representative for the actress confirmed her pregnancy with People, after she tied the knot with art gallery director Cooke in 2019 after more than a year of dating.

Lawrence was pictured walking through New York wearing a pair of floral overalls and a delicate white T-shirt as she enjoyed the remnants of the US summer.

She slung a leather bag over her shoulder and strode through the cobblestone streets in her jelly sandals.

The actress also wore her blonde tresses down in loose waves and propped a pair of sunglasses over her eyes.

Lawrence appeared content as she strolled down the street, before eventually stopping for an al fresco meal with her friend at Fanelli’s Cafe.

The duo enjoyed a scrumptious meal outside, where Jennifer feasted on fried chicken, a bowl of tomato soup, and grilled cheese, along with a plate of French fries.

It wasn’t long ago insiders claimed Jennifer and her husband were already talking about starting a family together.

‘They both want children and have been discussing starting a family,’ a source told ET Online back in 2019.

For her rehearsal dinner, Jennifer and Cooke hosted a clambake on Rose Island under a white tent, with Cameron Diaz, Sienna Miller, Joel Madden and Nicole Richie seen arriving.

While he is now very much part of the New York social scene, Cooke, like his new fianceé grew up in the countryside, spending his childhood on his parent’s farm in Vermont.
