Last month, Ellen DeGeneres apparently revealed that she had recently given birth to a baby boy during the actress’ final appearance on her talk show on Monday.
During their chat, Ellen, 64, referred to the baby — whose name also has not been revealed yet — as ‘him.’
The Mother star also admitted to her friend that she would imagine the two sitting down for a televised chat when she was ‘on the toilet’ during her early days in Kentucky.

Ellen opened the segment by dishing about Jennifer’s admission that she used to imagine making it big and being interview by her while relaxing in the bathroom.
‘Not to brag, but we’re neighbors,’ she added. The Dark Phoenix actress currently lives in a house next to the comedian, which Ellen previously owned before moving next door.
The talk show host shared that Jennifer told her about her bathroom fantasies while preparing for the interview.
‘When she was a kid living in Kentucky, she used to sit on the toilet and pretend that I was interviewing her,’ Ellen recounted, before joking that the actress was ‘on her toilet right now’ as she called her on the phone.

Out of sight: ‘I assume you’re at home because you have a baby and you can’t be here. You’re on the toilet with the baby,’ Ellen joked while chatting on the phone with Jennifer
Once she got Jennifer on the phone, Ellen reminded her that it had been ‘ten years’ since she was last on the series.
‘I always imagined that I would interview you on the toilet. And then you never told me that when you were here,’ Ellen opened. ‘I assume you’re at home because you have a baby and you can’t be here. You’re on the toilet with the baby.’
Ellen also explained how Jennifer now lives in the house she used to live in when she began hosting her talk show, which gave her a glimpse into the Silver Linings Playbook star’s new motherhood.
‘By the way, I do hear you sometimes talking to him, and it’s really cute,’ she added, indicating that the actress shared a baby boy with her husband Cooke Maroney.
Ellen also shared an impression of Jennifer’s baby talk.
The actress gave birth in February, after marrying the art gallery director in 2019.

The stand-up comic then asked if Jennifer ever imagined being interview by any other celebrities while on the toilet.
‘Oprah [Winfrey], obviously. A little bit of [David] Letterman,’ she responded.
‘But I was really into your show. So pretty much every time it was a number two, it was you,’ she joked.
‘Wow! I am honored,’ Ellen said to laughter from the audience, before noting how great of an ascent her friend had had.
‘To be in Kentucky, to actually be sitting on the toilet pretending that you’re getting interviewed by somebody, then end up being a big superstar, and now being interviewed talking about sitting on a toilet pretending to be interviewed,’ she said.

‘Yeah, I mean, I really manifested hard on there. Maybe that’s the lesson: Take your time. Don’t rush it,’ Jennifer said over chuckles about her double entendre.
Jennifer said she imagined the interviews from ’13 to 17,’ her ‘formative years on the toilet.
She imagined the host buttering her up with questions: ‘”How did you get so pretty? You’re probably the prettiest person I’ve ever seen.” And I’d be like, “Oh stop, I’m definitely not the prettiest person you’ve ever seen.”‘
Jennifer concluded the interview by admitting the project she most regretted missing out on.
‘Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland,’ she said. ‘Because I went in and was speaking in a British accent, thinking there was no way they’d find out I was not actually British. So when I didn’t get it, it was like a failure on all sorts of fronts.’
