Jennifer Love Hewitt announced on Tuesday that she is pregnant.
The 9-1-1 star, 42, already has two children – son Atticus James, five, and daughter Autumn James, seven – with husband Brian Hallisay.
‘Oh baby! We have another one on the way. So excited to finally share this news with all of you,’ said the Party Of Five actress as she held up a pregnancy test in an Instagram post.

‘Thank you @clearblue for being part of our journey and giving us a platform to share this news!’ the former teen star said.
She then said she is behind an awareness campaign with March Of Dimes, a nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies.
‘As part of this exciting moment, I want to help raise awareness for Clearblue partner @marchodimes and their #ItStartsWithMom campaign – which helps provide moms and soon-to-be moms with resources and information on all topics ranging from getting ready to be a mom to maternal mental health and wellness,’ she explained.

The star also told People on Tuesday she had always been open to a third child.
‘But definitely didn’t think in the crazy year that the entire world was having that it would necessarily be this moment,’ she noted.
‘I feel like we’ve been able to so far raise two really special kids who will be great role models.’
The Ghost Whisperer star then said being pregnant again has been ‘such a pleasant, beautiful, surprising gift.’

She also said that her son had a feeling she was pregnant before she even knew she was with child.
She was laying in bed watching TV when a Clear Blue commercial came. Her son said, ‘Hey Mommy, you should order one of those in case there’s a baby in your belly.’
‘I was like, “How rude! I just ate a big dinner. What is he talking about?” It stuck with me, and they’ve been asking off and on for a year or so for a sibling. We weren’t closed off to the idea, it just wasn’t something that we were actively thinking about,’ said Jennifer.
Reel life and real life: Hewitt played a pregnant woman on her show 9-1-1 and said it reminded her of the birthing process. ‘Because my kids are a little bit older, it was a good reminder of being back in that space again. And [costar Kenneth Choi] was like, “See? Playing pregnant got you pregnant!” I’m like, “Yeah, I guess so,”‘ she shared
She took the test and it came out positive.
Jennifer also told the site this third child will be her last. ‘I’m pretty sure. I don’t think I could do another one. I think five is a great number.’
Hewitt played a pregnant woman on her show 9-1-1 and said it reminded her of the birthing process. But it was strange timing, she added.
‘Because my kids are a little bit older, it was a good reminder of being back in that space again. And [costar Kenneth Choi] was like, “See? Playing pregnant got you pregnant!” I’m like, “Yeah, I guess so,”‘ she shared. ‘The craziest, most surreal moment was having to give birth while being pregnant. That was very interesting.\
