Jeremy Kyle has opened up about his excitement over becoming a granddad for the first time.
The Jeremy Kyle Show host, who is preparing to marry his nanny-turned-fiancée Vicky Burton, revealed how chuffed he is to be a new grandparent after his 27-year-old daughter Harriet gave birth to a baby girl, named Isla.
The TV star, 53, also talked about the tragic loss of his mother, Nannette, who sadly died at the age of 85 following a battle with dementia.

Opening up about his new life as a grandfather, he told The Sun : "I love it. Everyone says it’s great because you can give them back! But no, she’s amazing, she’s very important.
"I tell everyone she’s the best looking baby in the world and her mum Hattie has done a fantastic job. I’m very proud."
But Jeremy, who is also dad to Alice, 14, Ava, 12, and Henry, eight, did admit he may have been showering his granddaughter with a few too many gifts.
The talk show host got engaged to Vicky, 35, earlier this year, but admits that they’ve barely made any wedding plans yet.
He added: "We’ve just moved into a new house, the kids are there week on, week off and everyone’s just settling down with their lives."
Speaking earlier this year on Loose Women, Jeremy said that popping the question was so disastrous that it left Vicky begging him to stop.
"It was on our holiday to the Caribbean and I’d been carrying the ring around in a dry bag for days," said Jez, revealing that he’d been hoping for the right moment to strike.
"We had gone on a boat trip to this Island and I thought, ‘This is gong to be perfect’, but then it started to rain," he said.
Jeremy and Vicky were left seeking shelter from the storm in an abandoned shack but the romantic moment quickly went from bad to worse.
"I went down on one knee but there was glass on the floor," said Jeremy. "Then I opened the box and the ring was upside down."
"[Vicky] said, ‘Would you just get up?!’ I tried to be romantic and failed miserably," he admitted.
Jeremy also revealed he’s moved his grieving father, Patrick, 86, into the family home following the death of his mother.
