Jerry O’Connell’s new Bravo show, “Bravo’s Play by Play,” is set to premiere later this month following a name change.
It was first announced that O’Connell would host an evening talk show — then called “Real Men Watch Bravo” — in July. But he apologized for the show’s name less than a month later after some fans felt it was homophobic or sexist.
The three-episode limited series will premiere on Monday, Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. E.T., the network announced Tuesday. The show will feature the actor engaging in conversation about the network’s “buzziest” moments alongside a panel including Esquire’s editor-at-large, Dave Holmes, former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub and TV host and comedian Michael Yo. O’Connell’s wife and Bravo fan Rebecca Romijn will also chime in.
O’Connell will serve as an executive producer on the series alongside Andy Cohen and Michael Davies.
