Kanye West seems to have referenced former partner Kim Kardashian in a track from his latest album Donda where he suggests she’s still in love with him.

On Thursday, the star hosted his second event for the release of Donda where he previewed a new track for the album, seemingly titled “Lord I Need You”.

According to People a line from the track says: “Time and space is a luxury / But you came here to show that you’re still in love with me.”

Kim, who recently said she's Kanye's "biggest fan" but wants a "real" relationship, has been in attendance at both of the rapper's listening parties for the album alongside their children; eight year old North, five year old Saint, three year old Chicago and two year old Psalm.

Kim’s support for her former partner’s new release has her sharing videos on Instagram of the event to promote the album.

Last month Kanye had appeared to be breaking down while performing a song at a listening party, with him dropping to his knees and covering his face as his song “love Unconditionally” was playing.

Lyrics from the track say: "I'm losing my family / I'm losing my family / I'm losing my family."

The song has since been updated though, with CNN and Buzzfeed claiming West now sings: "I'm losing all my family / Darling, come back to me."

Other lyrics to the song include references to being left and wanting his “darling” to come back to him.

"She's screaming at me / Honey, why could you leave? / Darling, how could you leave? / Come back tonight, baby / Come back tonight, darling, please / Darling, how could you leave?" they seemingly say.

The song itself begins with Kanye’s late mother, Donda West speaking and offering advice.

She says: "Two lessons that he passed along to his children,

"The first is that no matter what, you never abandon your family.

“The second was that no matter what, you love unconditionally."

A source speaking to E! News has said that Kanye previously warned Kim of the lyrics to the song.

They said: "He was respectful and gave her the heads up, and did not want to blindside her".

Kanye and Kim have continued to support each other following the split, with a source at Entertainment Tonight saying that they’re both focusing on their children through the break up.

They said: “Kanye and [Kim] have been co-parenting successfully and both of them want what's best for the kids,”
