Katie Price has suffered a fresh blow as thieves broke into her mucky mansion earlier this week.

The former glamour model, 42, who is currently staying in a rented house, vowed to up security after a neighbour witnessed three men on her private property.

It comes just weeks after thieves broke into her £1.3million home in Surrey, stealing her I’m A Celebrity rucksack and leaning the shower head over the ceiling which caused the bathroom to flood and the ceiling to collapse.

Distressing: Katie Price has suffered a fresh blow as thieves broke into her mucky mansion earlier this week

Katie told The Sun: ‘I’ve already contacted police and told them all this.

‘I’ve got someone going to my house to put a padlock on the bottom of the field gate, it looks like people are wrecking my property to go in again.’

A source told MailOnline: ‘Katie as a result of the recent invasion on her property is ramping up security to maintain a 24 hour surveillance on her house.

‘It was quite clear that these people were not lost or indeed ramblers and were there with intent to raid Katie’s property. The neighbours are also close friends of Katie’s and raised the alarm.’

Sad: ‘Someone went into my bathroom upstairs took the shower head off and put it over the bath, turned it on and it’s all leaked and the whole ceiling collapsed’, she said

MailOnline has contacted Katie’s representatives for comment.

According to the publication, a neighbour saw three men emerge from a black BMW.

The neighbour reported shouting at one of them to get off private property, only for them to reply they were looking for a toilet.

The break-in is the latest in a string of set-backs for the reality star.

She’s outta there: Last month, Katie took to YouTube to walk her subscribers around her infamous ‘mucky mansion’ – and revealed that she’s selling it

Years old: Having appeared on I’m A Celeb twice, Katie dug out her backpack, which was later stolen by thieves

Earlier this week, Katie was left devastated after a puppy she bought for her daughter Princess, 13, suffocated to death after getting trapped in an electric armchair.

She also had a bankruptcy hearing. The star was declared bankrupt last year.

Prior to the hearing, Katie had the worry of her son Harvey, 18, who was rushed to intensive care earlier this month after struggling to breathe and suffering from a high temperature.

After 11 days in hospital, Harvey was discharged and is now on the road to recovery.

Tragedy: The reality TV star and her daughter are said to be distraught after their dog’s death

Katie previously spoke about the last break-in, which happened only weeks ago, on her YouTube channel.

She said: ‘My neighbour Helen checked the property last week. In the evening someone went into my bathroom upstairs took the shower head off and put it over the bath, turned it on knowing no-one would be here and it’s all leaked and the whole ceiling collapsed. They didn’t steal nothing.

‘Then the next night she came in and said “Kate they’ve come again, they’ve ransacked your house”.

‘All they’ve stolen is my I’m A Celebrity bag which is a bit odd. Yeah I hate this house, even standing here gives me anxiety. I hate this house.’

Katie then went on to walk around the property expressing her surprise at how they didn’t steal certain valuable items.

The break-in comes after Katie and her daughter Princess addressed the sudden death of their dog Rolo.

The pair said they’ve been ‘getting a lot of stick’ but stressed Rolo’s death was an ‘awful, tragic accident’ and ‘the whole family is distraught.’

She explained: ‘Basically I was in the other room because we’re going on holiday, packing their suitcases, and there was five people in the other room, so people saying the puppy was left, it wasn’t left at all.

‘And it just got stuck under one of the chairs… I wasn’t in the room. And I just got told that he died. It’s awful. It was an absolute freak accident. I’m still in shock’.

Princess added: ‘Bunny was even there playing with him so it’s not like he was on his own.’

Devastated: Rolo was given to Princess (pictured together) as a gift for her 13th birthday just three weeks ago

Katie added that she was told by a vet that what happened with the puppy was ‘really common’ and that small pups often get into small spaces and suffocate.

She also described her desperate attempts to try and save her teenage daughter’s dog’s life, saying she quickly ‘started pressing his chest’.

She said: ‘I took him to the vet straight away and he was pronounced dead, there was nothing they could do. They did say he wouldn’t have died in pain, it was quick.’

Rolo, who was given to Princess, as a birthday present last month and is the third dog of the family’s to die in tragic circumstances.

Katie said: ‘As a mum I just feel for Princess, it’s awful. I’m so upset for Princess. At the end of the day it’s poor Princess’ dog that’s gone, the whole family is distraught.’

Emotional: Princess also took to Instagram to pet a heartbreaking tribute to Rolo, saying she ‘missed him already’ along with a gallery of snaps of her pet
