Kelly Clarkson is again attempting to shed certain properties during her bitter and ongoing divorce proceedings with estranged husband Brandon Blackstock.
The Miss Independent singer, 38, is again placing the final residence she shared with Blackstock in Encino, California on the market, relisting it for $9million — which is $1million dollars less than her original asking price was in May of last year.
Kelly and Brandon, 44, have been locked in a legal battle involving accusations of fraud, as well as custody of their two children River Rose, six, and Remington, four, since the American Idol winner filed for divorce last June.

Clarkson’s rustic Encino property covers almost 10,000 square feet, with the house contains eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

Kelly first listed the Encino home in May 2020 for $10 million, one month before she filed for divorce from her talent manager husband after seven years of marriage.
She initially bought the property in June 2018 for $8.5 million, after securing her judging gig on The Voice.
Earlier this week, Clarkson’s camp doubled down on claims Blackstock defrauded her of millions, saying they ‘stand by’ the accusations, according to a new statement from Clarkson’s team given to Entertainment Tonight.

Her legal team said they ‘look forward’ to challenging the Blackstock’s ‘boilerplate denials’ in front of the California Labor Commission in August.

Blackstock and his father Narvel’s lawyers say they are not subject to California’s Talent Agencies Act.

They also say a one-year statute of limitations on TAA violations would limit Kelly’s ability to get restitution for the commissions.
Kelly’s lawyer believes she is entitled to all of the money as well as other ‘things of value’ that Brandon was paid while acting as her agent.
Clarkson and Blackstock separated in June 2020 after seven years of marriage.
