Kerry Katona says Atomic Kitten would stamp on each other’s feet and fight

Kerry Katona has warned Little Mix to take a break from each other, or risk getting into backstage cat fights like she did with Atomic Kitten.

The girl band star was a member of Atomic Kitten right from their formation in 1998 until she quit for the first time in 2001.

And she's admitted it wasn't always easy-going with bandmates Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton, with everything from backstage fist fights to stamping on each other's feet during live performances.

Kerry also says she once made Liz change in the toilets at a TV studio because she was mad at her and wanted to get her own back.

Kerry sent out a warning to Little Mix stars Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock that the same thing might happen to them if they're not careful.

She wrote in her New magazine column: "I see Little Mix are on tour. I love the girls, but from someone who's been there, I'd tell them to give themselves a bit of space from each other on the road, as it's easy to fall out.

"I remember some of the fight we had in Atomic Kitten back in the day. Once, Liz punched me from behind after we had a little row. I was furious and got my own back.

"I made her get changed in the toilets at SMTV Live, then I stamped on her feet while we were up on stage singing Whole Again.

"It was silly stuff, but we were sisters, and sisters fight! I just hope lovely Little Mix stay on good terms – as least until the end of the tour!"

Little Mix have a lot more than their tour coming up.

They recently announced that they're launching a BBC show to rival X Factor .

Little Mix: The Search, on BBC One, will see them hunt for amazing talent to help create and nurture a new band who'll support them on tour next year.
