Khloe Kardashian has revealed the severity of the surgery she underwent to remove a tumor on her left cheek last year after learning it was melanoma.
In a teaser trailer for next season of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the Good American founder gave fans their first look at the huge, vertical incision without a bandage.
In a brutal post-op photo, a doctor is seen holding a ruler up to the freshly stitched wound to show that it measured four centimeters in length.
Khloe opened up about her skin cancer scare in Thursday’s trailer, reminding viewers that, although her surgery was a success, ‘Melanoma is deadly.’
The ordeal took a massive toll on Khloe, both physically and emotionally, with her BFF Malika Haqq remarking that she’s never ‘seen her this low.’

Khloe, who is predisposed to melanoma, previously had surgery at age 19 to remove melanoma on her back.
In October 2022, the mother-of-two took to her stories to explain the bandage on her face after fans began asking what it was for.
She confessed that she has to undergo an ‘immediate operation’ after having the lingering bump on her cheek checked out, which was later determined to be cancerous.
At the time, Khloe happily stated that her margins were clear and that she was focused on her healing process.
The teaser shows Khloe’s family reacting to her latest bout of melanoma and expressing their concerns about what’s to come.
‘Mom just told me that it’s melanoma,’ concerned sister Kylie Jenner, 25, tells Khloe.
In a confessional, Khloe’s mom Kris Jenner says: ‘This on her face is very concerning,’ before showing footage of Khloe sporting a huge bandage on her face.
Malika tells Khloe she hasn’t seen her ‘this low’ while Kendall Jenner, 27, says aloud ‘she doesn’t sleep, she lost a lot weight’ as scenes of Khloe with her newborn son and her getting tested at a doctor’s office play out on screen.
‘Melanoma is deadly. This was way more serious than I anticipated it to be,’ Khloe says.

‘I think he thinks, lets just ride this out but no, no chances,’ Khloe said.
He had another child with Houston trainer Maralee Nichols despite him knowingly having a second child via surrogacy with Khloe.
Maralee welcomed Tristan’s third child in December 2021, one month after the Khloe and Tristan’s surrogate was implanted by their fertilized embryo.
Khloe and Tristan’s second child was born in July 2022, via surrogacy; they are parents to daughter True, five, together and the basketball player, 32, has a son with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig named Prince, six.

The trailer for season three kicks off with a humorous note, with Kim telling the producers she doesn’t remember where they left off from season two.

Season three of The Kardashians is set to drop on May 25 on Hulu.
