Khloe Kardashian reveals bond with son Tatum is getting easier… after admitting she was struggling with her second child born via surrogate
Khloe Kardashian revealed in a confessional on the latest episode of The Kardashians that her bond with her now-11 months old son Tatum, is ‘getting easier’.
During the episode ‘Ciao Kim’, which dropped on Thursday on the streaming service Hulu, featured Kardashian, 37, opening up about strengthening her bond with Tatum, who was born via a surrogate.
In the episode, Khloe and her mother, Kris Jenner, traveled to Milan to support Khloe’s older sister Kim’s ‘Ciao Kim’ collection that she collaborated on with Dolce & Gabbana.
While on the way to hotel in Milan, Khloe admitted to having ‘FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)’ with her two children, whom she co-parents with ex-partner Tristan Thompson, at home whenever she travels.
‘I have two little humans to miss and freak out about,’ the co-founder of the fashion label Good America stated in a confessional.

The reality star and socialite also expressed her admiration of her youngest child’s bond with his older sister True, who is five years old.
‘I love True’s relationship with him, and this is going to be hard,” she said of being away from her children.
‘But travel Khloé is always fun. I’m just worried about having a good time and bringing good energy.’
Khloe’s confessions come just after the Good America co-founder opened up in ‘Everything is My Fault!’, the episode of The Kardashians that aired last week, on how her bonding experience with Tatum was completely different compared to that of when she gave birth to True back in 2018.
‘When you compare it, between True and [Tatum], it’s a very different experience,” Khloe confessed to her mother Kris in last week’s episode. “Like, the connection.”
‘Like with True, it took me a couple days to be like, ‘Okay, this is my daughter,’ and I was super into it—but just days,’ Khloe revealed.
‘But with [Tatum], it’s taken me, like, months [to develop a bond with him]. I love him and I love kids, but I definitely still don’t have that complete bond. But you know, so many say it takes time.”
Khloe even stated she had to change Tatum’s formula due to a sensitivity issue.

Kris then proceeded to comfort her daughter as the two discussed the struggles pertaining to surrogacy.
The 67-year-old reminded Khloe, who turns 38 at the end of the month, that she needed to be easier on herself, as every time she (Kris) came over to Khloe’s house, she sees how doting that Khloe is on True and Tatum.
‘I wish I wasn’t so critical of myself,’ Khloe revealed as episode proceeded to cut to a confessional.
‘Because I’m very kind to everyone else, I’m just not very kind to myself. But being a mom is truly one of, just the most magical experiences ever.”
Khloe co-parents both of her children with ex-partner Tristian Thompson.
The reality star and NBA player were in an on-again, off-again relationship from 2016-2021. Despite calling quits for good in June 2021, the two welcomed their second child Tatum, who was born via a surrogate, in July 2022.
