Kim Basinger, 68, makes a rare sighting in Los Angeles… as ex Alec Baldwin says he looks forward to Rust shooting being ‘behind’ him
Kim Basinger rocked a charcoal grey windbreaker and sweatpants as she braved the cold temperatures in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.
While running errands in the pouring rain, the 68-year-old L.A. Confidential star rocked a pair of black sunglasses, a red handbag and light grey and white sneakers.
For the laid-back outing, she wore her light blonde hair in a sleek bun with a few strands of hair hanging loose.

With less than two days before Christmas, she appeared to be on the hunt for a few last-minute gifts.
This comes after her ex-husband Alec Baldwin made some comments in the wake of the fatal shooting on the Rust set.
‘I’m looking forward to some aspects of this being behind me, of course. For everyone who is involved in this, it’ll never be behind us because someone died so tragically. I never lose sight of that, not a day goes by I don’t think about that,’ he shared.
he also said: ‘It’s true, I only care about my wife and my kids and moving forward with my life and trying to get through a tough time, a really tough time.’
Baldwin began his speech with: ‘I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all the people who sent me such kind words and best wishes and strength and hope and prayers, thoughts and lots of encouragement.

‘I got hundreds, hundreds of emails from friends, family and colleagues and people I haven’t heard from in quite a while to send me strength and good wishes and so forth. I’m really grateful to them.’
In the past he has said he ‘feels terrible’ – but not guilty – for the October 21 death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injury to director Joel Souza on the New Mexico set of their movie Rust.
Alec – who was also an executive producer – claimed to ABC News on December 2 that he never pulled the trigger on the antique revolver that discharged a live bullet into both Hutchins and Souza.
‘I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them, never,’ Baldwin told George Stephanopoulos.

‘Someone put a live bullet in a gun, a bullet that wasn’t even supposed to be on the property.’
The incident is being investigated by the New Mexico Occupational Health and Safety Bureau, the New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney, as well as the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.
