Kim Kardashian has been declared legally single amid her ongoing divorce proceedings from Kanye West.
More than a year after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star filed for divorce, 44 year old rapper Kanye has been publicly slamming her, and her new beau Pete Davidson is a series of bizarre online rants.
And after 41 year old reality sensation Kim reportedly requested a judge to "make her single ASAP", her wish has been granted.
According to PA, the SKIMS founder and mother of four was declared legally single by a judge following Wednesday morning's court hearing over her divorce from Kanye.
With the court ruling, Kim can officially drop "West" as her last name and return to being called Kim Kardashian.
Kim and Kanye married in 2014 and share children North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two together.
The new court ruling comes after Kim accused Kanye of causing her emotional distress during their ongoing divorce proceedings and wants to speed up the finalising of the ending of their marriage.
Kim said: "Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media, which has created emotional distress."
Following her statement, Kanye was said to be attempting to stop his social media content from being used against him in court.
Kanye's lawyer reportedly told TMZ: "Kim claims she read something online allegedly by Kanye and characterises the posts in her declaration as misinformation."
"Kim needed to offer the social media posts into evidence, and show that the posts were written by Kanye," they went on.
In one of his bizarre rants, Kanye accused Kim of kidnapping one of their kids.
He's also been extremely vocal about his dislike of eight year old North being allowed to go on TikTok and post content.
Kanye went on to delete all the posts and shared a cryptic message to his 14.9 million Instagram followers about him wanting to "work on [his] communication".
The Jesus Walks rapper wrote in the since-deleted post: "I've learned that using all caps makes people feel like I'm screaming at them. I'm working on my communication."
"Thank everybody for supporting me. I know sharing screenshots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim," he went on.
"I take accountability. I'm still learning in real time. I don't have all the answers. To be a good leader is to be a good listener."
