The online campaign is soliciting donations for Samuel Rauda, a makeup artist who underwent emergency surgery after sustaining multiple injuries in a recent car accident.
He previously worked with the influencer as her stylist.
Many of the reality television personality’s fans were quick to notice that she had only donated $5,000 to her friend’s medical fund.
And they took to their social media outlets, particularly Twitter, to voice their disapproval of Jenner’s donation.
A good cause: The 23-year-old star requested her followers go to a Go Fund Me campaign to chip in which revealed the TV star had only put in $5,000 herself.
One Twitter user commented: ‘Wait so kylie jenner’s make up artist got into a car accident and needed $60k for emergency brain surgery and she asked her fans to donate???? and then only donated $5,000 when she’s a literal billionaire?’
Another made the observation, ‘No way billionaire kylie jenner opened a Go Fund Me for her stylist??? sis how about you GO FUND HIM.’
Bella Thorne also matched Jenner’s $5,000 donation, and Sofia Richie and Bebe Rexha both gave smaller amounts to the campaign.
The largest contribution was made by a user with the name Mjay Al Thani, who donated $12,000 to Rauda’s medical fund.
Giving something: Jenner’s donation of $5,000 is currently one of the campaign’s top contributions, with the highest being in the amount of $12,000
Calling her out: Many of the influencer’s fans noted that her financial situation is stable enough to the point where she could have comfortably funded all of Rauda’s medical expenses
Not having it: Another Twitter user urged Jenner to provide more funds for her makeup stylist, writing that she should ‘GO FUND HIM’
Last week, Amelia Hamlin, who also spread the news about the incident, reposted a story from a friend of Rauda’s that explained what happened to him and how he was doing after undergoing medical treatment.
The friend, with the Instagram handle @itslademi wrote: ‘This weekend @makeupbysamuel went into brain surgery and is still in the hospital on a road towards a very long recovery.’
She added: ‘An awful accident happened & he flew off a moving vehicle crushing his head into the pavement, suffering from internal bleeding and 8 different injuries to his brain.’
Rauda’s friend noted, ‘The surgery went well and now we are all just waiting for when Sam wakes.’
Letting everyone know: Not long after the campaign was founded, Amelia Hamlin reposted an Instagram Story to her own to let her fans know how Rauda was doing after surgery and to raise awareness for the campaign
‘During this time I ask you to join in and help Sam & his family with the overwhelming medical expenses. His family has started a go-fund-me, so if you can… anything helps and adds up,’ she wrote.

Amelia wrote in the repost: ‘My heart is breaking. may god protect your beautiful soul. You are in our prayers. Let us pray for a speedy recovery.
