Kylie Jenner embraces 90s fashion in a vintage Thierry Mugler figure-hugging gown as she attends the star-studded CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City
Kylie Jenner jumped to the past and donned a stunning, form-fitting Thierry Mugler gown from the late 90s as she arrived at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City earlier Monday.
The Kardashians star, 25, gave a rather leggy display in the high-slit dress as she posed for a photos at the ceremony which took place at Manhattan’s Casa Cipriani.
The CFDA Fashion Awards, short for Council of Fashion Designers of America, is an annual event created to both honor and recognize talent in the fashion industry.

The businesswoman opted for an eye-catching, one-shoulder ensemble with the top portion of the dress containing sheer, ruched material.
The right arm contained a sleeve that fell down past her wrist and was made of the same sheer fabric.
The bottom portion of the dress showcased the star’s toned legs with a high slit on the left side of the black velvet skirt draped around her lower waist.
Kylie slipped into a pair of classic black heels to complete her overall look for the glamorous evening.

According to Vogue, Kylie donned a Thierry Mugler dress from the brand’s Fall 1999 collection.
Her hair was slicked into a chic bun, with a few curled pieces sweeping around the classic up do and onto her forehead.
To accessorize her ensemble for the evening, the Kylie Cosmetics founder added a pair of diamond earrings along with a large ring on her left hand.
Her makeup was elegantly done, comprising of a simple layer of black mascara to make her eyes pop, nude-colored glossy lipstick, and a pink-colored blush on her cheeks.
The mother of two appeared to be having a blast as she made a fashion statement at the awards ceremony.

The CFDA was established in 1962, and celebrated its 60th anniversary at the ceremony.
Talented singer and music icon, Lenny Kravitz, was honored during the evening with the 2022 Fashion Icon Award.
According to the organization’s official website, CFDA CEO Steven Kolb expressed in a statement, ‘The 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards will celebrate not just honor American fashion’s best and brightest talents, but also the CFDA’s 60th anniversary milestone.’
After taking solo photos, Kylie was later joined by her mother, Kris Jenner, and the duo took a few additional snaps together.
The reality star donned a black, long-sleeved dress that flowed down towards the ground, with a smaller slit on the bottom. She added a pair of bold, gold-earrings for a pop of color.

Kylie’s sisters were also in attendance, including Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner. However, Kourtney appeared to be absent from the event.
When recently talking to CR Fashion Book, the TV personality opened up about her plans to pass down her stylish wardrobe down to her daughter, Stormi, whom she shares with Travis Scott.
‘I have the most amazing pieces, and I cannot wait to share my entire archive with her when she is older,’ the star expressed.
‘I’m so excited to see how she is going to wear and style them!’ Kylie further gushed to the publication.
