Lady Gaga fell victim to a revealing wardrobe mishap on Monday evening as she left her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. 

The 35-year-old mega star accidentally exposed her nude underwear while wearing a black dress with a high leg slit that caught wind as she left NBC Studios in New York City. 

The Bad Romance singer kicked off promotion for House Of Gucci in the UK last week, and spent the weekend in Milan, Italy before jetting to New York to continue doing press.

Gaga’s on-air look was a stylish one shouldered dress which exposed her midriff and a lot of leg by way of a high slit. 

She was seen strutting out of the studio in metallic pumps before stopping to pose for photos — at which point she suffered a dress malfunction.   

Trying to showcase a bit of a dramatic flare in the garment, she was steadfast about keeping the gown’s skirt pulled out to draw attention to her legs. 

But while doing so she was met with a gust of wind which caused the flowing frock to blow up and expose her nude underwear.

Ahead of the taping she had exited the The Lotte New York Palace in a show stopping silver Lanvin trench coat. 

Though Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated House Of Gucci film is not out in theatres until November 24, Gaga has had an aggressive promotional schedule. 

On Monday she incurred a bit of criticism from the movie’s dialogue coach Francesca De Martini who knocked her ‘Italian’ accent in the film.

Gaga had opened up about her method acting style approach to playing Patrizia Reggiani — the notorious woman who hired a hitman to murder her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci in 1995.

‘I lived as her [Reggiani] for a year and a half. And I spoke with an accent for nine months of that.I never broke. I stayed with her,’ she told British Vogue, adding that she spoke in the voice off camera.
