He was the Oasis frontman, whose voice is synonymous with their smash hits including: Wonderwall, Supersonic and Champagne Supernova.

And, Liam Gallagher, 47, entertained the nation with hilarious Champagne Soap-ernova hand-washing videos on Saturday, filmed at home in his kitchen amid the UK-wide coronavirus lockdown.

The singer took to Twitter to share black and white videos of himself performing cleanliness-inspired versions some of his greatest hits while washing his hands, telling fans: ‘If you know the words, wash along!’

At midday on Saturday, Liam tweeted: ‘Back on the lash c’mon you know Dya think I got a drunk problem LG x.’ 

Later in the day he uploaded a series of black and white videos of himself singing some of his iconic tunes, but with a twist.

The singer changed the lyrics to include themes of cleanliness as he encouraged fans to wash their hands amid the coronavirus pandemic.

‘New tune WONDERWASH c’mon you know LG x’ tweeted Liam along with a video of himself performing his amended version of Wonderwall.

Keeping it clean: Next up, Liam quickly pumped some cleaning product into his hand – before but singing out his revamped version of Champagne Supernova

In the short clip, while washing his hands, he sang: ‘Today is gonna be the day that they’re gonna throw it back to you. By now you should have some how realised what you’ve got to do.

‘Wash your hands, scrub your toes, scratch your a**e and pick your nose. Come on you know…’    

He then tweeted: ‘Here’s another one you might know. It’s called SOAPERSONIC. If you know the words wash along LG x’ accompanied by another video of himself singing Supernova, soap-style. 

Genius! And finally, Liam performed a new version of the Oasis track For What It’s Worth

Lockdown: A host of other stars (including Professor Green who is currently on day 7 of self-isolation) took to Instagram to give updates on their time at home

He sang: ‘I need to be myself, I can’t be no-one else. I’m feeling SOAP-ersonic. Give me gin and tonic. You can have it all but how much do you want it? Wash your hands you little f**kers.’ 

Next up, Liam tweeted: ‘Back by popular demand here’s champagne SOAPERNOVA thank you all for washing and I’ll see you down the road LG x.’

Once again, the rocker was stood washing his hands – and quickly pumped some cleaning product into his hand – before but singing out his revamped version of Champagne Supernova. 

He sang: ‘You will find me company of a landslide, in a champagne SOAP-ernova in the sky. Wash your hands ya little f**kers!’ 

And finally, Liam performed a new version of the Oasis track For What It’s Worth, which became: ‘For WASH It’s Worth.’ 

He tweeted: ‘Alriiiiiiiiiiight 1 more this is it, its a beauty I wanna dedicate this to the 1 n only Simon Aldred love you Rasta LG x.’
