Before he revealed his pick on Monday night’s episode Danny told the islanders of his chosen girl: ‘I think she’s very intelligent. I think we’ve connected on an intellectual level. I think she’s absolutely stunning. I think she brings something to the villa that nobody else does.’
The ‘intelligent’ compliment had viewers hopes up, thinking the model would pick fan favourite Yewande.
The 23-year-old went to university when she was just 16 and graduated with a first-class honours degree in biotechnology and a Masters in pharmaceutical quality assurance, before landing a career as an oncology vaccine specialist.

‘How did he mention intelligence and not pick Yewande? That’s her main selling point.’

Flabbergasted: Bemused viewers questioned Danny’s choice of words in the speech
‘Hate how Danny belittles yewande’s intelligence by saying he connects with Arabella on an intelligent level, You’re too good for him’ agreed another.
Others questioned the ‘connection’ Danny claimed to have with Arabella, with one writing: ‘Danny is not that thick to say they connected on an intelligent level. Bruh are you buzzing haha you spent most of the time talking about #Yewande and unless intelligence means discussing which model poses work best with different campaigns?’
Viewers took to Twitter in their droves on Monday night to praise the scientist, 23, for standing her ground following the shock recoupling, before Yewande gave her verdict on the models’ blossoming romance and revealed she thinks it will not work on the outside.

Recent scenes in the villa saw tensions arise between Yewande and Danny after Arabella’s arrival, with the two ladies going head-to-head in an awkward showdown.
Both Danny and Arabella, 28, accused Yewande of being manipulated by her friends to show more affection towards Danny, something which she vehemently denied.
After initially confronting Danny over his actions, Yewande eventually relented and told the hunk that she didn’t mind him getting to know Arabella better.
