Love Island fans SLAM Sophie and Leanne for trying to 'manipulate' Nas

‘How DARE they?’ Love Island fans SLAM Sophie and Leanne for trying to ‘manipulate’ Nas into sacrificing his own happiness with Demi so they can remain in the villa

Viewers of Love Island were left unimpressed by Sophie and Leanne during Wednesday night’s show, as they attempted to ‘manipulate’ Nas into choosing them in the re-coupling, over new girl Demi.

The men of the villa were tasked with selecting one woman to re-couple with – Nas hitting it off with Demi after struggling to connect with anyone else on the show so far.

Yet Sophie and Leanne seemed more concerned with their own interests, hinting to Nas that he should couple up with one of them out of loyalty, rather than give himself a stab at romance.

Mean girls? Viewers of Love Island were left unimpressed by Sophie and Leanne during Wednesday night’s show, as they attempted to ‘manipulate’ Nas into choosing them in the re-coupling, over new girl Demi

Sophie’s partner Connor had left the villa two days earlier, leaving her single, while Leanne had broken things off with Mike the day before.

This meant both girls – who were original contestants on the show when it debuted two weeks ago – were vulnerable.

Before the recoupling, Leanne said to both Nas and her ‘ex’ Mike: ‘I would love to stay. But I would never ever in a million years tell you to pick me over a potential. You don’t have to feel stressed over the decision.’

‘We both want to be here but we don’t want to be here on the expense of you chucking something away for us.’

Moments later, Sophie and Leanne spoke to Callum, contradicting themselves and saying: ‘Callum can you maybe say to the boys again that we don’t want to go. We were just being polite.’

Sophie later reasoned that she ‘wants to be given the proper chance to find love’ despite already claiming she was committed to Connor.

Of Nas, she tried to reason that Demi ‘isn’t his type’ and that he shouldn’t choose to keep her.

‘He wouldnt pick her in a normal situation. It’s a bit s**t for us!’ she said.

Spinning a yarn? Of Nas, she tried to reason that Demi ‘isn’t his type’ and that he shouldn’t choose to keep her. ‘He wouldnt pick her in a normal situation. It’s a bit s**t for us!’ she said

Shaughna, however, wasn’t standing for it, saying: ‘If Nas does like Demi he shouldn’t be made to feel bad about it.’

She then said to Paige and Jess: ‘Sophie really likes Connor but wants Nas to choose her. Is that not weird?’

Sophie was then seen speaking alone to Mike, trying to get him on side.

‘At this moment in time I want a chance and I don’t want to go yet. I don’t want to pressure you to do anything you don’t want to do,’ she said, having already sussed that Mike was potentially interested in her.
