But Michael Griffiths has been working hard on transforming himself in the three years since the villa, showing off an incredible new look.
The tattooed hunk, who previously worked as a firefighter but now describes himself as a fitness trainer, has overhauled his physique with regular gym sessions, and is now almost unrecognisable.

Describing himself as a fitness trainer and online coach on his Instagram page, which boasts 1.1million followers, Michael shocked fans with his latest post this week.
A video showed the hunk, 30, and Ex On The Beach star Ashley Cain, 31, performing synchronised backflips for the camera.
2018 Love Island star Kaz Crossley, who now works as a fitness and beauty influencer, was seen helping with the stunt in the background of the footage.
Michael made reference to the 2008 comedy film Step Brothers in the caption, writing: ‘Did we just become best friends.’

Michael told MailOnline in a 2020 interview that he didn’t hold any grudges against his Love Island ex Amber Gill.
The hunk was vilified by the public when he dumped Amber for Joanna Chimonides in dramatic scenes from his series, but he said he doesn’t hold any ‘grudges’ against his former flame after she went onto win the £50,000 cash prize.
‘There’s no point in me holding grudges and what happened in the past, happened in the past. If you hold onto it it’s just going to upset you even more,’ he said.

Amber was mortified after Michael returned from Casa Amor with another woman – but the brutal dumping earned her the respect of the nation.

Michael admits he has ‘no regrets’ from his time in the villa and he’s happy to remain single for the foreseeable future. He said: ‘I don’t regret anything from that point of view.

After the show, Michael moved from his native Liverpool to Essex where he lived with former co-stars Jordan Hames, Chris Taylor and Danny Williams.
The boys starred together in MTV’s Living The Dream, a digital series filmed during the pandemic.
